I was planning on replacing my old raypac boiler this fall with a new high efficency Lochinvar boiler. I got a hold of a rep that sells Lochinvar boilers and I am not having much luck. The rep wants me to put a down payment on a boiler before he will provide any information on install or even give me a part number so I can check it out before I buy. I can't even get the sales rep to come to my wash and look at it, he just wants to sell me a boiler. I would like to know exactly how to install this thing so I don't end up finding out I need to shell out another thousand or two for extra parts. I have to wonder how the service would be after he gets my money if he doesn't want to talk before he gets money.
Is this the way all the Lochinvar service is? Needless to say I am probably going to go with another brand. I am sure someone else would be glad to take my $5000.
