I am debating weather to switch to Warsaw chemicals to save some money. Those of you who use warsaw chemicals what chemicals do you recommend and where are you using them at? I don't want bottom of the line chemicals just something that cleans well and doesn't break the bank. I would like to use the weather shield for my top wash package on the IBA. Also can the triple foam be applied right over the presoak without a rinse between them? Other chemicals I was looking at would be wonder with booster, and berry dry. Any thoughts? Tire cleaner, foam brush, HP soap, etc?

I use Warsaw Chemicals and don't have any complaints.They consist of 509 Detergent w/booster, 503 Wax (Lemon), 519 Cherry FB Soap, and 554 Radiance High PH Presoak. They also have winter mixes of the FB soap and Tri-Foam. Once the Turtlewax starter kit runs out for my Tri Foam, I'm thinking about switching. Although the starter kit looks like it could last a few years. Its amazing how long it lasts at 120:1 mixture....
BTW...Prices for those chemicals range from $38.00 - $43.00 per 5 gal. My distributor is about 150 miles from me. They run a different route weekly on a 6 week rotation. Delivery is free of charge. They call a week before to take my order. Can't beat it....

We use Formula 577- silky suds fast foam(white), Formula 557- triple foam, Formula 570- berry dry(lower washes), Formula 580- weather shield drying agent(top washes) and Formula 555- wheel cleaner for the CTA and Formula 534 wonder plus (touchfree washes) and RainX.
Since I have an Istobal M12 it does Touch and Touchfree washes. I also have a Sentry Teller so I offer 6 set washes. Then I have an ala cart screen were they can upgrade to the RainX for $2 more.
The Chemicals work great. I have no complaints at all. Plus they are super concentrated so they go a long way. The only chemicals I dont dilute down is the Weather Shield and RainX.
On the touchfree wash it applies the wonder plus on the first pass and dwells for 15 or 20 seconds then it applies the triple foam on the return pass. No rinse in between the 2 and I have great results.

Berry dry is good, but I prefer the weathershield drying aid. The weathershield tri foam has good beading, protection quality, but does not foam well in my wizard 2.0 setup. So I have reverted back to 530TCF.
Tire cleaner, I use 560 green. You have to use it at a pretty strong concentration but it does a great job in the SS. It's not very foamy, but unlike many other SS TCs, it actually works.
I don't think you will have a problem with wonder plus with added hotshot booster.
I would not apply a triple foam protectant on top of presoak. You could apply trple foam lo ph conditioner on top, though.

Ditto on 2Biz's description of Warsaw's regular consistent delivery process. Warsaw Corporation must be applying good "systemic practices" as part of their guidelines. Our former semi pro hockey player John Boehmer lookalike delivery person Jade Gilbertson has been great to work with. We do have to communicate to him our needs though --- the better companies & their personnel do not want to have to read our minds.

It has been said many times here but I will say it again. It is important to know your use cost, not the cost per gallon or pail. Sometimes what seems cheap really isn't and sometimes what seems expensive really isn't. I feel any good chemical rep can make any body's products work but sometimes they would have to use much more of one brand than the other.
Thanks for all the good input. Comparing the suggested dilution of warsaw chemicals to the high priced diamond shine chemicals I am currently using it appears that the warsaw chemicals will go farther per pail which would further lower my cost. I haven't had any problems with the diamond shine chemicals but they seem to cost more than other chemicals I have been seeing. They also raised thier prices about 5% last fall.

Very true. Warsaw has a low cost per container but is not always the cheapest to use. I do use another IBA presoak because the cost per car is slightly lower and it foams better. But ordering from multiple sources is not practical for many. I'm one of the few that doesn't mind ordering from multiple places and I don't rely on help from a chemical rep. Yes- I have my own liftgate.
But back to RPHs point: Reps perform volumetrics on site and can help determine cost per car. I don't perform volumetrics, but consistently mark containers with car counts and date chemical placed on line. This gives me "real world" cost of using the chemical. I have a friend who owns a decent volume tunnel and was bragging about his low cost per car for a name brand product. The chemical rep visited him frequently and provided him with really cool spreadsheets that showed his cost per car down to the tenth of a penny. But when we looked at his books and car count, his chemical costs were far in excess of what they should have been if the volumetric report was accurate, like 30% higher. Some reps may disagree with me. But to me, the most important number is the one that I have to write a check for.
