I have a 2 tub dog wash that has been open for 2yrs now. It has a vinyl ceiling, FRP walls and a sealed concrete floor. We disinfect and wash the room down at least twice a day. I have been thinking of upgrading to a tile floor as I have heard that concrete can retain some of the odors associated with a dog wash.
Do any of you have experience with a tile floor in a dog wash? I am worried about slips and falls so I would have to get some sort of non-slip tile surface. Aesthetically I think it would be an improvement, I'm just wondering if it will help with reducing the wet hair odors.
For the record I also have motion activated air handling equipment that ventilates the room while it is in use and for 15 mins after a customer leaves.
