I had an idea and wondered if anyone has tried it here. My etowah valley meter boxes allow me to price different functions at different prices. I was thinking of adding two different high pressure rinse optioins. Lets say 1200 psi at one price and 1500 psi at a slightly higher price. Hopefully this wouldn't promote mud washing.

Maybe a higher pressure soap, rather than rinse. The rinse is suppose to just clean the soap residue off and not do much washing, so one would be inclined to spend more with a function that does more.

If you're going to do that, I'd give them the option for a higher pressure soap selection since that's what they'll want to use to clean something.

I'm sure it will promote mud washing, along with grease, paint, asphalt, etc.

If you do this the etowah valley system won't allow you to use the count-up function for CC acceptance.

Interesting idea.
My first thought was not to give a higher pressure at a higher price, but perhaps a lower pressure at a lower price. Why? a) I regularly see customers not pulling the trigger. b) I just had a 40% water + 40% sewer increase, maybe I could promote it as a "water saver" feature & I'm passing along the savings to offset my price increase.
Need to think about this a bit.

I wasn't aware that you couldn't do this with a CC count up function. I am going to have to look into this. The variable price feature is kind of worthless If you can't charge the same for it across the board.
