OK, swivels are a must on my SS wands. I would also like them on my foamy brushes but do not have them currently. I have been using the Mosmatic swivels on my guns and am very happy with their performance. HOWEVER, they have gotten ridiculously expensive especially since they only seem to last a couple years (maybe a little longer). I have included the specs of the ones I have been buying later in this thread. They cost $34.67 plus shipping from KR! Has anyone tried the KR value swivels? How do they compare? Are there any other options? KR value swivels are $7.39! I can replace a lot of them for the price of one Mosmatic if they actually swivel.

This is the one we use on everything. Fluid Controls Ball Bearing Swivel 3/8" FxM Brass 2000PSI. High pressure swivel with brass body and stainless steel thrust bearings; Internally lubricated O-rings and stainless center spool piece assure long, trouble-free operation; Maximum temperature 160F. KR Part #SW0260 $14.15.

We've tired the KR value swivels and they are OK, not as good as the #SW0260

Well, I am not sure about my pressure, but I am sure it is not 2000 psi and my water is 134 degrees so it should work. Thanks for the info. I will give those a try.

I use the same swivel randy suggests and like the SW260 really well. For the low pressure brush look up the SW250 for$2.99 from KR. I use one at the top of the FB hose and at the brush. A good price and will last a few years.

I have used both. First the Fluid Controls Swivel (KR Part #SW0260) and then the Mosmatic. You get what you pay for... the Mosmatic (3 times the price) lasts about 3x longer than the other. So unless someone comes up with something better I stick to the Mosmatic.

I have used both mosmatic and fluid control swivels on my self-serve guns. I did not have luck with the mosmatic, they did not last as long as the fluid control brand. The ones I like best are sonic swivels. You can buy these straight from where there made at Scotch Plaid in Texas. There also cheaper here than at Kleen-rite. What happens on gun swivels is the bearing wears out due to the side load. When it's shot they leak water from the seals. On Sonic swivels the bearing can be out and not turn very good any more but it still won't leak water. I have tried to find a bearing replacement for these swivels as they come apart easy but cannot find a source for them. The cheaper swivels don't have a bearing in them only an o ring and a nylon washer. They don't turn under high pressure like those with a bearing in them.

$34? Mosmatic's gun swivel is $24 at KR.
I do like the quality of mosmatic swivels, but they're too pricey for me.

I've used KR's value swivels. I do not like the brass ones, but the stainless work well for me. $9.99. On my brushes and they last a long time, I dont recall repairing them much at all. (repair kits are around a buck, takes all of 2 minutes to repair one.)
I also use these as a gun swivel, they do get stiff after about a year or two. Usually I just put in a repair kit when I need to repair/replace a gun.
They dont leak on me either - not significant anyway, just very minor dripping and its pretty unusual.

I've been using the Spraying Systems swivels on the foam brush and triple-foam guns for a while now. They have a breakaway portion, but I've never had one broken. They're rebuildable, but they're so cheap and last so long I don't bother rebuilding them. They last a couple years on the foam brush handle.
