I am having an issue where the Water Wizard will not reset after a car leaves.
The issue is people will come in after that car, the Unitec will take their money and the car wash will not say "please drive in".

It says "Please wait carwash in use".

Any ideas? I know when I push the reset button on the control panel normally you would hear the auto cashier reset relay click, Now you do not.

Thanks for the help

Try taking one of your relays inside your electronic control panel (in equipment room) and swapping the relay with one that is less important like the exit light. If the problem stops replace the relay.

make sure the light is not lit on the fuse beside the blue relays in the ECC. If it's lit it's blown.

The red switches are very problematic. I have all of mine disconnected. Try taking the leads off each lead on the reset switch and touch them together. This could be the problem.

Instead of taking the wires off the switch I took a wire and jumped between the two wires on the switch. That should accomplish the same thing right? But got no result

I would take them off. I remember something similar happening with mine. You'll need a real small screwdriver.

I would guess that the zoc16 is probably going bad. It's strange that you can reset a manually started wash, that tells you the push button is working, but for some reason you are not getting the control voltage to the relay. Do you have a scrolling menu sign or the lighted menu sign in the bay? I have heard of shorts in the bulb sockets in the menu sign cause crazy issues with the zoc16.

I just read your original post closer. I now think you might have a bad prox switch in your treadle plate. Did you ever det this worked out? I'm curious what the problem was.

It's either the machine is not thinking the car has left, i.e. bad prox, eye, etc... or the machine is trying to send the reset signal and it's not making it through the zoc16 relay block. I assume that the unitech cashier uses a 120 volt cycle inhibit relay, thus the need for the zoc16 output, but it's not activating the 24 volt cashier reset output from #14 on channel 1200 either. I would think that the machine is seeing that a car is still in the bay, but you would think that whatever issue was causing the computer to think the bay still had a car present would be rather obvious, but you never know with a water wizard! Seems like I learn something new on a monthly basis about the quirks of that machine. Keeps you on your toes at least! Please let me know what you find out because more than likely I will have this issue in the near future.

I know this thread is old but I had a similar problem today and I solved it so I'll be a good guy and post a solution.
On this one the wizard was not seeing the car leave so the red light was staying on and not letting the next car in. The auto reset would eventually kick in but it would take a while. Unlike the original poster the manual reset button was working fine.
The problem was one of the can sensors went out. I replaced them and it's working now. What I'm not sure about is why it uses the can sensors and not the exit sensors. The exit sensors are not even connected to anything, so I guess they are unneeded...
