i was told by a friend of a friends brother....jk , but in all seriousness, that i could get ww 1.0 wheels that were worn down fitted with stainless steel inserts, can anybody point me in the right direction? ricky

Never heard anything like it but my distributor has been getting them made and selling new ones for around $140 each. PM me and I can get you some more info.
