Hold a magnet right against the display and it will reset. I have complained to Dixmor numerous times about not being able to cancel unused time with the remote and they won't make that option available. My $.02
I.B. Washin,
This advice was worth more than 2 cents in my opinion ... especially ... if you know from experience that the magnet trick is very unlikely to cause any problems. I just tried it & the letters "STOP" flashes & wha la ... magic ... the time is cancelled.
It is so refreshing when we share non misleading information with each other. This information makes our Dixmor LED7s have even more value.
One point I would like to make is that when I was in Des Moines at the Heartland show back in 2007 I was trying to convince one of the Dixmor guys at the booth to resurrect the Ethernet connection on their what I believe was their 2000 ??? timer (Galen tipped me about it) since I had not yet gone to the LED7s yet. They are not the only manufacturer when they actually do have a worthwhile feature ... they abandon it because of feared
future potential support required. Heck ... just having the basic capability for a non supported function seems would be of value to many of us. That is one thing that I give Standard Changemakers credit for ... when they turned my 17 year old nephew & myself loose with a little bit of programming on our own that interacts with their embedded chips ... knowing that we firmly accepted & were OK with the warned no support beyond the port function itself. Beggars can't choosers ... I guess ... type of mindset
. That was way back in about 2002.
