Wash was started & no car seen w/i 50 encoder counts. Reset wash and return to home treadle sw.
I know most of you guys own ww but they pretty much the same with fusionx.
1st question ....So what and where is the 50 encoder count?
2nd where are the measurement eyes located?

I have checked those emitters and receiver which all lit... looking thru old forum thread it might be a card problem, because last week i had a measurement eye did not test off at start (alarm 84) but it still wash until now.

its the cans on the front of the gantry. sounds like you might have a bad in position eye or something blocking them. like it thinks there is a car there.

I suspect that they mean wheel counts. On the WW2.0 if the eyes don't see a car within 50 counts on the wheel (counting) proxes it goes home and shuts down.

I believe the measurement eyes on the FX are jst forward of the wheel brush eyes. Look for a set of eyes that look diagonally across. I believe the driver side is low and angled up, the passenger side is higher looking downward.

Sorry old post, I'm guessing you have found them by now :)

yep... end up replace all three receivers. JC had new ones that is just one piece meaning you have to replace the wire as well. Didn't want to waste time so I bought old ones where it disconnects. The new one btw is cheaper give or take~$10. Went to CWS they had only 1 in stock old style cost $139..vs. JC $159.50!

I think it is the measurement eye in middle shooting diagonal that gives out this error...anyway replace it and 2 others and all error went away.

Many of the Banner receiver and transmitter eyes that quit working are bad in the connector ends, either on the pigtail or the wire end. My guess is 50% of the eye failures are because of the connector. I understand thats why JCC is getting away from them. Don't throw away the old eyes. Cut the ends off, solder the wires and test them with a car battery. If they work you can still use them.

Puzzling, cause they still light up and signal strength changes but they dont work or Redlion doesnt recognize them. I just replace another one for undercarriage. Whats the life on these emitters? 3 years max?

I've got some on a seven year old wizard still working. I just went through a bunch of them on my workbench last week. I had two that looked almost new that were bad. I had some that looked like Hell that are still working.

ok this is a bad trend , i just replace 2 more emitters QS30ARXQP 74010 for the boom. Anyone get them cheaper than $139 ?

Would you recommend not getting the quick disconnect versions and just get the full wire versions then? I'm about to order some and was thinking the quick disconnect was the way to go since it can be changed out quicker.

Can you tell me more what do you mean test them with a car battery? I've got a bunch of used eyes but don't know if they're good or bad. They're so expensive that I'm reluctant to throw them away since they were from previous owner I dunno if they're all bad.
