Wobblehead brush owners ?

Does anybody have had success with these brushes being how expensive they are for a 20 dollar handle and would customers run away permently. Would like someone to respond who actually has them at there SS wash. Thanks
 
I have 8 SS bays and no problems...however crime here is low and we have a very extensive cam system with license plate recognition. Anybody who has done anything here in the past couple of years has been caught...so word gets around fast that your leave my carwash alone.
 
I bought the Wobblehead brushes for one of my SS washes as a test. AFter a year, I have seen no discernable difference in the amount of weep washers that still use the floppy head brush to scrub their car with. I personally don't think that they are worth the additional cost and won't be adding them to any of my other wash locations.
 
Had them in 8 bays over a year. Some still try to use them without the function operating, but I think it reduces some abuse like using it as a broom to sweep out the back of the pickups. Let them go to the competition for that. HAs it made more money or chased away frustrated people? I don't know for sure but it has reduced my aggravation level seeing lesas of my Erie ogs hair brushes get abused. No vanadalism or functionality issues.
 
I installed them in 2 bays to try them out. I like the idea & design, they seem to be well built.
Do they increase revenues? I dont think so.
Do they decrease weep washers? Some, yes, but not a lot. Mostly the fact that they have to hold the head of the brush steady just angers most of the customers I see doing it.
Do they stop people from using the brushes on tires? Nope.
Do they reduce wear on the brush heads? I dont see a difference.

Will I buy more of them? Not at current prices, no. I like the wobble head, I'm willing to pay more for them. But nowhere near the price they ask.
 
I agree with Paul. I don't own any of them, but would like to incorporate them into the business. The entry price per head is way out of my reach to justify the purchase unfortunately. I have 12 bays total, and at $1,800 to equip all of them plus signage costs, I just don't see the ROI anytime soon.

I do have one question for you wobblehead owners though. It typically takes a few seconds (depending on how far from the bay) for my foaming brushes to produce a nice product. How easily or quickly does the head stiffen up for use? About the same amount of time?

Yes, same amount of time - by the time my brushes are producing decent foam it isnt wobbling anymore. IMO that aspect works as advertised.
 
Just grind up some Viagra and add it to the foam brush mixture should take care of the time to stiffen up problem.

I installed five wobbleheads a week ago along with their instructional signs. Have not heard a single comment or had any problems. I like them.
 
the wobble head is a success and can make you $$$$

I manage 3 washes in the metro Detroit area and they are all within a 5 mile radius of each other , but 2 of them are self serve. Both coin ops are 7 bays and I installed the wobble head at 1 SS as a trial for a year and let me just say it is really nice to being able to take quarters to the bank I would say at least a 20% increase in revenue so as for the Wobble Head ( Two Brushes Up)

Really? Seriously? Wow, revenue increase by 20%? Where do I buy this wonder drug? :p
 
Apart from the product (which may be quite good - I don't know) and this "review" above (true or not) I don't like the fact that this company does not show their contact details on their website (9/27/13) and I guess as a curtesy they surely must have asked for permission to quote members of this board on their website: http://www.thewobblehead.com/wh-feedback.html

I guess asking to quote is a courtesy, but once you post something on a public forum I think their is no quarrel with anyone who quotes you. But that is more of a legal than courtesy issue.
 
So I talked to the guy at the last ICA which got me to do 1 5 bay wash with it. No real customer training needed, signs came with it and it has really slowed down the dry brushers I was having. The entry price was my sticking point too but it is all heavy stainless and I have expectations of it lasting 5 or more years vs. the every year replacement of my other wands. Time will tell I guess, but for what I purchased them for they are working as advertised.
 
Well the puddle dippers, tag-teamers, bay hose tanglers, etc are upon me this season again how are the wobblehead brushes holding up to expectations? I have got to get my hands on one at the next heartland show but $150 a piece is it worth it?
 
I would have figured that if they were junk and fell apart that we would have heard about it by now.
