Super Saver Pump Stand owners

Ok So I have a 7 bay super Saver pump stand that I picked up, its in like new condition. Its been stored for a few years. What changers or recommendations would you have for me before installing?? I was thinking about changing procons out with flojets, and taking off the soap tank bins and just using soap buckets in place of the tank. Why pour buckets of concentrate when I can draw from the buckets?? Any other tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Going from 25+ year old home made equipment to something hopefully a bit easier to work on.

You might want to remove all the plumbing from under the hot water tank and run only a ball valve and single hose to the pump with the cold water tee'd there. Changing a check valve on that manifold is not something you want to have to do on a busy day.

I am not sure I would change out the Procons. While I have replaced a few on my automatics, I have never replaced my Procons on my Supersaver. Knock on wood"

I wouldn't change the Procons either, but if you prefer the FloJets you ought to at least use the Procons until they go bad and replace them with FloJets.

Thanks all for the advice. I will install as is with the procons and see how it goes. I dont have any experaince with them, I have been using flojets and have had little to no problems with them. I was wondering about the height of the water tanks. It is above the height of the guns, do you guys have any siphoning issues with that or have you had to put vacuum breakers at the highest point in your bays?? Also do any of you use the soap storage tanks?? I am thinking of making it a work bench and just put the soap buckets under it, I just dont see the need to pour soap into a tank when I can draw from the buckets.

I use the storage tanks and just put extra 5 gallon buckets under them. They last a long time and it's easy to pour a five gallon bucket of chemical into the tank. You will probably have siphoning issues as I did and many others. Putting in check valves in the attic fix the problem. Though I have one bay where the check valve leaks during the weep cycle and I can't figure it out. The other bays are fine.

One thing about the flojets. They absolutely must be primed. If not they will burn in about 10 seconds. Take the outlet hose off and make sure fluid is coming out before starting pumps.

Are you sure you didn't mean to say Procons? FloJets are meant to self-prime and run dry without damage.

If you have the soap and wax solenoids, and you get rid of the soap tanks I would move those solenoid banks to the front of the unit. Mine are very hard to work on where they are and get a lot of moisture, causing wire rust outs (not wire, the little stand offs on the solenoid coil).
