The Car Wash Show Update

One week to go!!!! I get to fly out of sunny (and drought stricken) central California to Chicago (30 degrees right now) for the Car Wash Show 2014. ShurVend will be sharing some space in the WINDTRAX Booth #943, so come by to “kick the tires” on our new VendPro-iG4EE that is designed for use in the “free vacuum area” of an Express Exterior car wash. This is a high security vendor that can be opened up by the attendants when the wash opens and then locked up tight by the attendants when the wash closes. The outer door is the one the attendants will open and close; it has two plug locks with one set of high security keys. The vendor door also has two plug locks and will be given a different set of high security keys; the manager or owner is the only one that can load product and/or remove the money from the vendor.

Windtrax is using a prize wheel that can be made to spin to give away free gifts from Windtrax and from ShurVend. ShurVend will have T-Shirts to give away (The weather will warm up sometime!!) and there will be a chance to win a $250 credit voucher that can be used within six (6) months after the show to purchase a new vending machine from ShurVend. So come by, spin the wheel, and get a gift for looking at new products and spending some time.

So do I!!!!!!!!! All the west coasters that I know are saving their money to buy water if they can find it!!!!! I have some customers coming that want to see the new iG4EE vendor so I have to go. Chicago is not my favorite place to go, but I will try to enjoy it. With my thin blood I will put on some longies underneath my Uncle Sam suit. It is just up the road, Pat, so you better come!!!!

I didn't lose anything the last time I was there, so I ain't going back. This will be the first show I have missed since 2000, but I have no desire whatsoever to go to Chicago. I can't believe they moved the show there, but I'm sure the press release will put a positive spin on the pathetic turnout I expect they will have.
