Thanks, does this include a POS system and does it have a limit on the number of cards that can be added or that it can handle? Where is the information for the credit cards stored, online or in office? Also do we have to back up the system or is it guaranteed by the system? We use a system called wash remote for our fleet accounts. It's very very similar to wash card. But it has a bit more flexibility with the loyalty cards programming. It will also monitor your self serve and IBA equipment as well.
As for fleet accounts. Each customer has an account that they can have an unlimited number of cards registered to. The cards are numbered and can be given a name that corresponds to the number. From there you can either do an accrual system, where they use it all month long and rack up a bill that is automatically generated and emailed to them for the amount do, or you can give them a dollar/daily limit.
We use the accrual system on our fleet accounts. A base discount is give, for example 10 percent. Then it can be set up to do an additional discount when a certain amount is hit. For instance if a customer reaches 50 dollars or more for the month an extra 10 percent is taken off of their bill. The system has worked very well for us, for everything it does, not JUST the fleet/gift cards. If it's within your budget, you may give it a try. It's all automated, which makes it nice. The customers even have an online account manager system. They log in to our website with their fleet account info, and they can check their current balance, check each of their registered cards usage, and pay their bill.
It integrates into your auto cashier and your bay meter boxes. If you do not have an auto cashier, there is a separate POS system you can use. There is no limit on the number of cards that the system can handle. Very easy to activate and deactivate cards. Gift cards function very similar to the fleet cards, with the customer being able to type in their card number and check the gift cards balance and reload it if the want. The info for the credit cards is stored in a central server that will be mounted and installed somewhere in your equipment room, or office. The system is PCI compliant, unlike cryptopay. I'm not sure about the back up question however. Check out their website. www.washremote.com Customer support is great, they've been willing to implement quite a few of the suggestions I have had. If you speak to Brian, tell him Eric in MI says hello. Thanks, does this include a POS system and does it have a limit on the number of cards that can be added or that it can handle?
