Good morning,

I have 2 self serve bays where the 1034R Timer keeps saying "Please Wait' when the tire cleaner option is selected. Its like the timer is rebooting itself and will not work properly until tire cleaner is desellected. These bays happen to be right next to each other but I doubt that has anything to do with the issue. I replaced one timer thinking maybe that would be the problem but that did not help. I have never seen this happen before so I am at a loss. Could it be the 10position switch? Maybe something in the equipment room? All other bays the tire cleaner works fine.

Please Help!!!!

Thanks in advance

First easy check is to pull the power wire to the tire cleaner solenoid for that bay.(In equipment room) Then try to turn switch to tire cleaner. I have had solenoids go bad, then reset the timer when you choose that function. If it is not the product one, check the air solenoid same way.

It is odd you have two bays, but at least this will rule out the solenoids on the chemical and air manifold.

Thanks, I will do that today. Both bays did not do that at the same time. I tried fixing the first bay thinking it was the timer and when that didnt work I went on to the next problem. I then noticed the second bay doing it last night so my sense of urgency became greater.

I will let you know the results.

Thanks again.

Washnvac, I was able to do as you suggested and it was the coils on the product side. I had some extras and now everything works like it is supposed to. If I can make a suggestion to anyone reading this, keep some extra stems and coils on hand at all times. The coil was melded to one of the stems and would not separate so i had to replace both. Im glad I had an extra stem. They dont go out very often but when they do they are nice to have for a quick fix.

Thanks again Washnvac!

Yeah, you can't have too many spare parts.

Technically I might disagree with that. One time about ten years ago I had an 1800 square floor mini office/warehouse suite. It was packed with stuff. Moving out of that was a nightmare. It could have made a "Hoarders" episode. My basement is starting to look that way now. :)

I went to the wash at 6 am this morning and found a 1/2" threaded plastic plug on one of the RO membranes had blown out. Luckily just a few days ago I had ordered a couple of each size just because I like to have extra everything on hand. But if I had to pack up every spare part and move it, it might take an hour.

My garage looks something like that now. It's not worth the trouble to move stuff around to get my classic cars out. Sadly, some of the things in there are items I bought from you when you cleaned out that warehouse...:(
