Seattle Guy you seem to be passionate supporter of Israel perhaps you are Jewish? No matter, you are entitled to your opinions and feelings but the statements you make do not jive with the facts.
It is genocide the UN HAS CONDEMNED Israel for their genocidal actions.
Of course Israel could wipe out all the Palestinians they have the same weaponry as the USA since we give it to them.
And they would do it but they know the world community would not tolerant such as action.
Did you know the UNITED NATIONS has resolutions unanimously passed by the entire General Assembly except Israel and the USA demanding they return the lands they took from Palestine. With the US's support Israel thumbs their noses at the UN.

Jon you have obviously not been to Dubai , Abu Dhabi , Doha, Qatar; Kuwait City, Jeddah and Dammam, Saudi Arabia some if most modern and advanced cities in the world, all developed and managed by Arabs who are highly educated in the USA and Europe at the finest universities.
These are not Bedouins riding camels and living in tents.

Excellent post. That is a problem debating with biased people. They resort to personal attacks on the person they debate with or in this case the subject persons because they have no facts to substantiate their opinions or no facts to refute those presented .

Those places you mention are for sure high tech amazing cities. All paid for with oil money and engineered with American and European talent. Largely built with important labor, that is treated terribly. What do these places actually invent or produce? It is just oil money.
What is wrong with using the money from the natural God blessed them with to develop magnificent cities and creat work for the world 's poor .

Well the problem is once the oil runs out there isn't much left. There is no sustainable industry. You sound like an obnoxious anti Semite to me. I actually have a lot of Muslim friends. Buda,There is more to a modern society than building gleaming cities. Most every one of those countries you listed are dictatorships or religious theocracies. Women have no rights and are treated as property. Women can't show their faces in public or drive a car. LGBT people live under the threat of death if they are found out. Religious freedom is nonexistent. Try building a Christian church or a Synagogue in Saudi Arabia or Qatar. There are many Mosques in Israel and many Arab and Muslim citizens. How many Jews have Saudi citizenship? The Palestinians have had many opportunities to have a separate state but each time they reject the deal at the last minute. Hamas is determined to eradicate Israel and is delusional. I too am done with this thread.
Seattle Guy - speaking of the foreign workers in the Arab countries. They literally beg to come to these countries to work because of the excellent opportunities they have for financial gain. Thousands of Filipinos and Filipinas work in the Arab countries in what we would call menial jobs because they make more money and live much better than they do in their own countries. Most of these Filipinos/Filipinas are university educated but make more money in a car wash/detail shop than they do as accountants, nurses, etc. I was shocked my first time in Saudi Arabia to find how well educated these people were, but willing to work in a menial job in the Arab countries because of the financial opportunities.
For the people from India, Pakistan, Bangaledesh; Sri Lanka; Sudan; Somalia to have such jobs in the Arab countries is like being given another chance at life.
Most all of them I have worked with have been in the countries for years. If they were treated so badly as you say, why would they stay, why would they come back? They all are given by law, an airline ticket home for a holiday every 2 years.

I thought there were so few casualties in Israel because they were shooting Hamas's rockets out of the sky. The israeli's have by far the best electronics in the world, and far superior to our own . We are lucky that the world still thinks of us as a superpower, as we have no military just the national guard fighting our wars. We have no space program ,dismantled by Obama , and ride to the ISS on Russian rockets. Probably not for long as our cretin of a president is disliked by Putin. Countries don't buy much military equipment from the US anymore, that was the 70s. The Israeli stuff is far superior to ours. Our infant mortality ranking is close to 50 countries that are better than us and we probably spend the most $$$. . Internet speed ranking we are number 26 , and we developed it. I have had renters from Uzbekistan that say the US internet is so crappy it should be free. Russian renters that say a cellphone costs closer to $15 a month, and Internet is better there. I have a friend with a software company, and all of his programmers in the Ukraine- costs less and better. The Rest of the world is using NFC- near field communication for most purchases for years , and our government has went with big banks and- easy to hack credit card companies to keep us in the dark. Maybe we are still. A superpower with our military dismantled but we don't even come in third place in almost everything compared to the rest of the world. Why compare the Jewish people to the Muslims when it is our own country that is bad shape.

There is no reason for them to bomb civilian targets resulting in so many civilian deaths. If the USA would have done that we would be condemned by every country in the world. A FACT that is true of Israel's actions. Every country, EXCEPT the USA is condemning what the Israeli's are doing to the innocent Palestinians in Gaza. They are guilty of nothing other than living in Gaza. They have nothing to do with Hamas. They do not deserve to be annihilated as they are.
The only explainable reason is "genocide" ethnic cleansing of the Levant so Israel does not have to worry about the world demanding a Palestinian State.

The entire world community is already condemning Israel for what it is doing to the innocent in Gaza. To totally eliminate the Palestinians in Gaza would result in chaos for Israel. They are patient, alittle at a time.
