Another year as come and gone, so I after 28 years in the car washing business , the time as come to get out and have fun with the family. I will be posting a classified on the for sale page, listing equipment and complete building. Spread the news to any one looking to startup a business .

Congratulations! I have always heard that the two best days at the car wash is the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Hope you enjoy yourself.

I’m just about to the point of hanging up it also. After 32 years we’re pretty much fed up with the customers, the theft, vandalism etc. Last year I had the police to my wash 14 times. My problem is the property is worth more without the car wash on it, so to sell it and get a decent price I’ll have to remove the car wash.

maybe get a price to remove building and equipment and use that as a point in calculating asking price. you're smart so you probably already know this.

That's probably true with most of the washes around here. The dirt is worth more for apartment development.
