Credit card system

We are ready to add credit card acceptance to our autos, ss and vacs. I have studied a few different systems and the most logical choice seems to be crypto pay due to cast and functions. My partner likes the dan system, I think it is pricey.

Would anyone with experience/advice please comment.

crypto pay is great. i have it in ss bays only at this time.

easy to install and monitor on line.

correlator is simple and if it loses pwr emails you.

rates are good thru worldpay and the site is easy to navigate.

Have Crypto and love it. Thought about DAN but was concerned about price. As Waxman stated, price and merchant fees are good. Pretty affordable to just try out.

Does the cryptopay use the credit cards with the chip on them? I was thinking there was some new regulations coming out this fall that required the use of the credit card chip. I also need to add some credit card capabilities in my pet wash but am hesitant to spend the money right now until all these credit card readers are upgraded to read the credit card chips. I hate to spend the money and have to upgrade in a year.

They don't have the new readers to my knowledge. However they are compliant with the most recent laws regarding cc security. You should call them. The owner is available and very helpful. The customer service is top notch.

I did. I just wanted CC. So they were way out of budget. But a good service and company.

we have cryptopay, and it works great. I like the fact that if customer uses it in the ss bay, and then goes to a vacuum and uses it, you are not charged with two % fees, works like that for a 2 hour time period.

I think I’ll be old and gray before the Mag Stripe credit card goes away totally. I got 2 new credit cards in the last month, both of them has both the chip and the mag stripe.

I got cryptopay at my carwash. It's simple and cheap but i would like to do more than accept cc.
I'm gonna build a new carwash in another town here in a few months and I'm looking into something like washcard or Carolina pride systems.
I know it cost quite a bit but I think it'll pay for itself

Check out washremote while you are researching washcard type systems as well. We couldn't be happier with our system.

Your partner probably likes DAN because customer loyalty programs are the future of the carwash industry whereas Crypto might save a few bucks in the short run.

I see many good comments about cryptopay here but I sure remember reading a lot of comments last year that were not too favorable. Might do a search of the forum to check it out.
