I had a float valve leaking badly, but didn't have time to fix it. It was on my cold tank so it wasn't a big deal to leave it be, but I couldn't shut off the supply because it was shared with something else. I thought you guys might get a chuckle with my "fix" until I could get to it. Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do :D

That looks like something a Hillbilly from Kentucky would do. LOL! I like the stuff in the bottom of the tank. What is that sand?

I've dug an empty Coke bottle out of the trash and filled it with nuts and bolts to replace a cracked Hydrominder float, so I won't judge.

That's some of the stuff out of my softener. I had a problem with it recently and it sucked that crap into everything. I put on a new valve today and sucked all that stuff out as well.
