I am trying to solve a problem with a machine that I maintain, it is a Ryko Emotion 3, which I believe was manufactured in Italy, the manufacturer went bust, and I believe that the nearest machine that Ryko now make is a Softgloss 3. The machine is set up to do a double pass Prefoam, using Trifoam. For an unknown reason, depending on the vehicle in the wash, the machine will only do one pass, from front to rear. When this occurs, the rest of the wash cycle, becomes out of sequence, as when the prefoam stops, the rollover is at the rear of the vehicle, and not at the front, meaning that it misses the first of the rinse/wax passes. When using my work vehicle in the wash, I have found that if I reverse slightly, say 300mm, when the first prefoam pass is in progress, I get the second pass of prefoam, and the wash completes a full cycle with all wash components in their correct sequence. Any ideas of what the cause could be would be appreciated.

Fia29 was purchased and later closed. Several of those that used to work for Fia29 (or Ryko Italia) now have their own compeny called Croma Service. For support, please send an email to service@croma-croma.com and they should be able to help you.

We have not had much luck getting information from anyone else about this problem, which is still happening! I have found out purely by accident, that if you allow the wash to start, then back the vehicle up around 300mm, while the wash is in progress, the Trifoam, does a double pass foam, and the wash goes through its full rinse, and wax cycles? Any ideas anyone?
