Question for Anyone using Single Hose / VFD Self Serve System.

When using a Single Hose or Single Hose VFD system, do the low pressure chemicals go into the pump at application strength or are they mixed at the pump head with fresh water and diluted there ? Thanks

Gravity feed to city pressure switch question

So I guess your not using an injector on you HP pump for soap and wax, just have the dosatrons running into solenoid valves and then into the inlet port of the pump ? On your low pressure, are you using the procon to boost the water pressure before the dosatron or between the dosatron and the...

The perfect pump stand , what would you choose ?

Makes sense and sounds simple. I guess you are just using one injector for both soap and wax ? Do you just " T " the soap and wax together before the injector ? I wasnt aware that the injectors would work at a low flow rate like on the inlet of a SS pump. Are you using just any special hose to...

The perfect pump stand , what would you choose ?

so, if I understand correctly. You have city water pressure going straight into the 413p and then into the regulator ? And are you using two DEMA 203c injectors downstream of the regulator just before the pump inlet ? What are you using for soap and wax ? Hydrominder tanks or something else ...

The perfect pump stand , what would you choose ?

Randy, I have thought about this. You are using city water pressure through a regulator and shutting it on/off with the DEMA solenoid valve. How and where are you injecting soap / wax ? Inlet side of pump, high pressure side ? Thanks

Gravity feed to city pressure switch question

Ok so if I understand you correctly, you are thinking of using the dosatron on soap or wax as the only supply to the pump when wax or soap are selected ? Even the smaller dosatrons can handle 11 GPM so one could handle 3 bays at the same time. That's in interesting thought. You could very...

Gravity feed to city pressure switch question

I have thought about the same thing. Would you just run a line from the dosatron down to the wax / soap solenoid on the inlet of the pump ? I guess you would be injecting into the suction side of the pump at a slight pressure above gravity feed ?

Gravity feed to city pressure switch question

No, I have a 3bay self serve I purchased about 7 years ago. I have just about paid off the loan. I've been bandaging the thing together to keep it going and Now it's time for a remodel. After looking at lots of equipment and getting prices, I have decided just to build it myself. So, I'm just...

Gravity feed to city pressure switch question

Kevin, What pressures are you settling it up as ? I'm guessing your setting your flojets up just a little above the city pressure ? Also are you using any type of solenoid valve on the incoming water line or just straight into the pump ?

Gravity feed to city pressure switch question

May be a dumb question but on a system that uses straight city water pressure, how do you get soap and wax to work ?

Single hose VFD systems, suggestions ?

Going to remodel my ss wash and I really like the idea of the VFD systems with the single hose to the bay and no more low preassure pumps. Does anyone have experience they would share both with any pros and cons about their system or recomendations of a system? Thanks

Pump / Motor slowing down, speeding up ?

I have 5hp Toshiba 3 phase motors running CAT 530 Pumps. I have one bay that will slow down then speed back up randomly when someone is using it. Sounds like its bogging down and going to stop then it speeds back up. Is this a sign of a motor going bad ? I have turned everything by hand...
