    Carwash Magazine

I still get magazine, I don't pay for it and wouldn't if I had too. No longer fits my business model. I'm regular subscriber to SSCWN and that's all I need in the printed news.

Georgia Self Serve- lower profits than expected

Did you do a grand opening with free car washes ? Attended washes pay for themselves in the long game.It amazes me how often customers have questions or issues with a self serve wash and a part time attendent can resolve those issues. I use retired guys as attendent as they are more outgoing...

    New Owner looking to learn

All good suggestions from veteran operators. So here is my 2 cents for evening reading. Get catalogs from car wash supply companies and go thru them page by page to review parts, which will lead to more questions and ability to converse with techs and owners correctly without calling parts "...

I would go IBA right away ,that way you have 2 different types of customers. Use combo vacuum units and rug beater to set you apart from others. Finally consider as much on site presence as possible,it will increase your sales. Attendent needs to be out going and willing to engage customers .

    Fonic Wash Power Concentrate

I replace my softener unit this spring of 23, no band-aid as other unit was 24 yo. Used green tip during that time good cleaning and customers like the show.
