    Token Questions

We tried dispensing dollar tokens only and accepting tokens and quarters recently. Lots of pushback from customers, and more importantly, saw a dip in business. Went back to dispensing tokens and quarters and biz is slowly coming back. Most customers like the convenience of depositing less...

    Goldline ACW’s?

No link, have to call to order, car wash services out of TN, will send you the contact info directly Either way works, they will get pre-auth for the top wash if they use nayax first, then final charge will get adjusted according to wash selected. ACW buttons, no double selection needed...

I just installed Nayax on one of our ACW 5 - best upgrade over the old Hamilton system that was on it. Easy kit to install.

Adding Nayax to Vacs, count which way?

Nayax customer support knows how - they were telling me you have to connect 2 wires in the Nayax pulse harness through the stop switch and they have to make some backend setting adjustment. The guy I was talking to made it sound simple, but I wasn't ready to install the buttons yet, so I told...

    Dixmor Digital Timer

I understand that, but even non-bankable people have cards nowadays. If I were paying for new boxes, there is no way I would get new boxes without CC. Cost is almost the same as retrofitting later, and way less hassle to buy with it than to add later.

    Dixmor Digital Timer

You put in new boxes without credit cards? Do you have cc readers mounted elsewhere? CC is the single biggest add-on to increase SS business

    Tubular Key Copies

Locksmith should be able to copy you a new key - take it to a locksmith shop. That being said, tubular locks are pretty much worthless and easy to pick with $30-40 picks, so hope you don't have them locking anything of value. Search youtube, can be picked within a couple seconds with the tool...

    Vac won't shut off.

Sounds reasonable for your situation where you already have the mercury relays in operation. For me, contactors are readily available and cheap, also I have contactors on hand most times. Quality contactors cycle thousands of times per summer and last a decade or more in Air Conditioners. I...

    Vac won't shut off.

I have seen these recommended multiple times on these forums. Any reason these are recommended instead of contactors? Curious as to why mercury relays are better for this application?

    Nayax voltage

The manufacturer does have those specifications published. The back of the actual unit has the allowable voltages for AC and DC. I am using a ac/dc converter to be safe on my install.

    Ginsan Lumitouch Buttons

Haven't tried calling them, just did internet search for the buttons, didnt find them at KR or CWS. Can't speak on longevity, just bought this wash 6 months ago. They are older boxes from 2007 or so and seem to be in pretty decent shape still.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

4 amp fuse has been installed for about 1.5 weeks without blowing

    Probably some stupid installation questions.

I have added the 24vac to dc power converter to my installs based on your experience of frying a unit. I looked into the Nayax power requirements more closely, and while 24vac is the max the VPOS touch will take, it can handle much higher in dc volts (almost around 48vdc if I remember correctly)

    Probably some stupid installation questions.

That is kinda surprising as I think like 99% of people installing nayax and dixmor led6 would be doing so in count up mode. What timer is this kit supposed to use? In his Youtube videos it looks like he is using the Nayax as the timer??? I can't really help you, I am interested if you can get...

    Probably some stupid installation questions.

Did you buy your kit from XCP corp? Why not call them and ask for support on the product they sold you? I am sure they have experience and can help you get this installed and working
