Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

I used a clamp meter, I am ok with the 4 amp fuse without further testing, as it is a little lower than the 4.17 amps the transformer will put out, basically just want to protect the transformer.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

I have some 4 amp fuses on the way, will get it replaced when it comes in. I can't say I am too worried about it though, circuit was basically unfused for the last who knows how many years. My 3 amp reading was with HP Soap running, no bill acceptor, and Sensortron (will be replaced with...

Just Rebuilt a Cat 3535- any tips for next one?

Based on what I found on Hylomar website, I think the Blue or AF should work for the CAT rebuilds wherever CAT recommends gasket compound. From the Hylomar website:

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

Ok group, did an amp draw measurement today while the bay was running with a function selected. It is hovering right at 2.99-3.04 amps, so obviously a 3 amp fuse will not work, I will order the 4 amp online from Home Depot and install that. Question for the group - is that within the "normal"...

Just Rebuilt a Cat 3535- any tips for next one?

I used the slide hammer style to remove pilot bearings in my racing days, I'm pretty sure there should be one available small enough to fit in a pressure washer bore. I have not had to take one of those apart again where I used the Hylomar Blue (only been in the CW biz for 6 months). Hope it...

Just Rebuilt a Cat 3535- any tips for next one?

Maybe something like a bearing puller would have helped - like a pilot bearing puller or similar. I know some puller can be attached to a slide hammer for those stubborn bearings. I have been using Hylomar Blue, which I was told is similar to the Hylomar AF they recommend.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

Yes, it is 100va. 4 amp fuse would have to be ordered online. Home Depot only has 3 or 5 amp available in store. Will try 3 amp first, if that doesn't work will step it up to 4 amp.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

Update, found a used transformer and installed. I put an inline fuse holder on the 24vac hot. 1 Amp fuse blew instantly. 2 Amp fuse powered everything while adding coins, blew as soon as I chose first function. I have a 5 Amp in there for now to get the bay going for the weekend. Thinking I need...

    Couple Electroswitch rotary questions

Will check it out, can't believe I missed that on Youtube, I have seen so many of the Tom's Way videos and it has helped me a lot This is the exact setup we have currently, so will probably end up going with the delay on break relays when I get some time to set it up. Need to get relay...

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

What amp rating fuse should I be using in the transformer on the permanent install? I am pretty sure the fuse that is in there currently is way too big.

    Voltage on Ginsan Beeper horns

Ah sorry for the confusion, I was talking about getting the led6 timers installed. The beepers I just left mounted the way they were and wired them into the led6.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

Thanks for the idea, may try your way with a fuse inline just in case a short or something else took out the original transformer. The fuse on the transformer wasn't blown, but the transformer is not putting out the secondary 24vac and has a burnt smell. I think it got sprayed with tire cleaner...

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

Hi group, had a 24vac 100va transformer give up to the ghost, have 1 on order. I have a 40va transformer in stock, can I use that to get my bay up and going while I wait on the 100va replacement to get delivered? Don't want to screw something else up by using a lower powered transformer, so...

    Voltage on Ginsan Beeper horns

Got these installed last week with some custom brackets so I wouldn't have to drill the doors. Wiring was easy with both wiring diagrams and the info from this thread. Thanks everyone for the help. Next step to install nayax in count up mode once all these breakdowns stop occurring

    Couple Electroswitch rotary questions

The spares the old owner left are electroswitch, and I bet they are from Kleenrite as the old owner ordered everything from them it seems like. Will probably get to replacing these next week when the seal nuts come in. If using the seal nuts, are the other nuts still required? Or are the seal...

    Voltage on Ginsan Beeper horns

Thanks for that info. I think I have all the wiring figured out, couple of questions you maybe able to help me with. Don't understand what #1 purple wire - 24 VAC counter pulse is supposed to be? I think it may not be applicable for me. The #5 GRN/WHT earth ground I was planning on connecting...

    Voltage on Ginsan Beeper horns

I am in the process of replacing some Ginsan GS400 II to Dixmor LED 6 timers. Can't seem to find the voltage specs on the existing Ginsan Horns in my meter boxes. I'm trying to see if I need to order new horns. Looks like Dixmor outputs 12vdc to the horn. Anybody know the Ginsan horn specs...
