    Customer calls for accommodation

True Story: I had a young girl in her 20's with a dead battery in one of my bays. I happened to be there and told her I would go back home to get my jump box. I got her car started and then she happened to look at one of her tires and it was almost flat. She "Instantly" told me she must have...

    Flojet stall

I think this is your culprit..."Small tank, Kicks on a lot, Have drain slightly open" …..I have a 4 bay SS with an 80 gallon tank. It rarely kicks on even when busy. To help minimize head temp and lower air temp inside the tank, I adjusted the pressure switch to kick on @ 80psi and off at about...

    Weep system

One of the hardest things I had to over-come after buying a CW was to put my big boy panties on and go outside my comfort zone when something needed fixed or modified! Do the research on a project till your comfortable you'll do it right and then go for it! For a weep system, you might want to...

Windshield washer fluid or RV anti freeze?

I use a 15 gallon container for washer fluid. A 5 gallon bucket might work for you? No filter ahead of the flojet. Been running fine ever since I installed the system. Aluminum Blocks are home-made. The Off-The-Shelf ones Mep showed will work just as good.

I want to wire a relay off my WeepMizer to control my electric trough heat.

What Celiac said. That's how I have my heat cable wired. Except I have mine come on at 32 degrees. Same output 2 on the weepmizer activates floor heat and the LP winterizing system, all activated through relays that handle the load.

    Building an anti freeze/air blowdown

Welcome back CantBreak80! We seem to go through this every year about now! LOL...Last winter I used about $75 of WF to winterize 8 hoses...The system is flawless and saves a fortune! Now I might be able to retire some day, Just Like You! I'll have to disagree with that statement! "You were...

Sometimes I fail to appreciate the honest ones...

I try to be the opposite, but sometimes I have to dig deep. Had a guy pull in my outside truck bay with a tractor and hay-bine 2 weeks ago on a Saturday. He washed the hay-bine and even cleaned the concrete by blowing the grass seed off into the side yard. But then he hooked the hose when he...

    Changer just... dead

I think mine is a 550w and gave about $300 for it. So yea, the price has came way down! Cheap "Peace" of mind.....

    Changer just... dead

A Pure sine wave UPS is quite a bit more expensive, but well worth it.

    Presoak on triple foam gun

Believe it or not, I've had customers wash when it was 5 below zero with open bays! And the automated winterizing system still works flawlessly! Thanks for reminding me the other reason I don't like curly hoses! Always having to untangle them. Your welcome Manlo! I'm glad someone implimented...

    Presoak on triple foam gun

The curly hose is nice for show but I had trouble with it freezing in the winter. The hose length (35ft) was so long, the chemical/foam would flash freeze in the hose before it could get to the gun. If it made it to the gun, the tip would freeze it. This didn't happen until about 15° or lower...

    Presoak on triple foam gun

Manlo, that looks very close to the volume mine puts out. I used it yesterday on my full size car and it took me about 1 minute to do all the wheels and make it around the car. I run 60psi on the flojet and 30psi air using 1/8" kip manifolds. I also use all Warsaw products, so not the cheapest...

    Bay Timers

+1 on what Randy says...Its much easier to program the timer at home then just drop it in at the wash.

    Presoak on triple foam gun

Generally customers use PS first, then FB, then rinse, then use TF. So when they switch to TF, the gun is purged and shooting TF by the time they get to the gun. No issues with this setup.

    Presoak on triple foam gun

Change-over time is faster than having PS on the HP gun because of the larger nozzle on the foam gun. Both PS and TF are Tee'd above the bay. I also purge 2 seconds of air before PS or TF which eliminates Our towns concern.

    Presoak on triple foam gun

Works Great! After dealing with the headaches of having PS on the HP gun, I wouldn't have it set up any other way. It eliminates all CV's associated with PS and works so much better with the larger nozzle...I think I'm running a 40-40 v-jet. No more failed C/V's that causes back feeding issues...

How pumps work / Diagnosis question about backfeed

It is very odd! I can see a number of reasons why this isn't a good idea....Does the HP pump run when the flojet is injecting PS into the HP pump inlet manifold?

How pumps work / Diagnosis question about backfeed

Sorry, I've never seen or heard of a system where the PS goes through the HP pump....Most of them I've seen uses a Flojet or Rotary Pump that tee's the LLDPE tubing in a manifold above the bay with a CV at the manifold that keeps HP from back-flowing...Yours is totally different... I had issues...
