How to secure lower door on vacuum?

Industrial cobalt bits and cutting oil is what I use on stainless. I get mine at the local industrial supply, not Harbor freight.

    Doors for self service bays

I have had a few doors over the years on several SS bays. Things I have learned are 1. lock doors open or shut. Do not let the customer operate them as they may not raise them high enough and drive through the bottom panel, or the next guy does and either way you get the blame. Lock them open...

    KR- Excessive Shipping Charges

I was just trying to point out that KR could save us both money if they packaged more efficient. I usually order pallet load quantity but occasionally I have to fill in a few items. I still buy 99% of my stuff from KR and they have been a good supplier.

kleen rite self serve bay simoniz hot wax systems

I replaced my trifoam in the SS bays with Rainx years ago. It is one of the most expensive products out there and I still make great money with it. Very little is used per car. I know I am paying for the name recognition but I think it helps.

    Interesting WashWorld Razor Edge Modification

It looks like a it tried to copy a Ryko touchless that has the presoak manifold separated from the the HP from the factory. I hate having everything go through one set of nozzles and seems like a lot of waste of time and money each time they purge themselves.

    RYKO Softgloss Maxx3- Kevlar belts

Same as used on the drives for the touchless washes. You can get relacements belts from Astromatic in Texas a bit cheaper. You should also be able to pick them up at your local bearing supply/ industrial belt store also. Take a small chunk in so they can match pitch of the teeth. Just looking at...

    Kleen Rite Soaps

With the KR powders you should see a cost per car on a IBA below .40 cents with a double pass even with boosters. I was over $1 per car when I switched 10 years ago from other presoaks. I never get complaints about the cars not being clean. Correct works great through a single tip injector and I...

What if foamy brush automatically turned on

I think it might be a good idea to have the foamy brush turn itself on whenever it was removed from its holder during a wash cycle. It would shut other functions off until it was put back into its holder and take priority. It would eliminate the people who come in 2s with one using a dry brush...

    Bear Spray

I received a phone call today from a lady passing through town with her family needing a interior detail. I have retired from that line of work but asked what she needed. She said her kids had a accident with their can of bear spray inside the van and they had to get it cleaned so they could...
