Our County's Refugee Decision yesterday evening from 6-10PM

Yesterday evening I made it a point to listen via a "rural over the air antenna" (not just cable) TV channel BEK Communication... a very emotionally charged public input meeting held by our local county commission. What was planned to be 2 hours of testimony turned out to be 4 hours. At 240...

    Pit questions

Water Guy, With signs & watching customer activity ... we are pretty sure we get very little oil in our pit mud but we still would like to know more about the potential cost of some enzyme usage??? Can you share with us a range on what the enzymes could cost. Our local city sewage plant...

Max HP PSI on WashWorld Razor?

Hopefully, this is related enough to not be too much of a hi jack of thread since I am pretty sure the autos that choose a balance of more water over just more pressure actually provide a better process ... the chemicals be equal ... I am curious to know if anybody has the ability with a SS...

    Evolution Hopper Issue

It seems like hopefully without getting into too much promotion of a specific hopper brand ... reading about those hopper issues make me more appreciative of "can't remember when" I last had an issue with Standard ChangeMaker Hoppers. To be fair ... mine are in a 100% dry laundromat environment...

    Boom Hose Pull Down

Our Mosmatic Blow dry boom automatically goes to wall. Hard to fathom... but a percentage customers unwittingly force the hose on to the J-hook that is meant for one of the center Z-booms. Of course they just created a problem for the next customer. Simultaneous use by 2 people of both the...

Anyone have a crimping tool / machine for HP hose?

One argument for getting our own is our recent experience of no one local .... we could find ... willing to crimp anything but their own specific brand of hose (expensive+). 15 years ago there was not such a "psych out caused by fear of liability"!!! Our mosmatic z booms require the precise...

Anyone using LPR license plate readers?

I am thinking that the less than 30° Angled extremely low height required for mounting of the LRP camera can make it more vulnerable to vandalism. If the LRP is mounted indoors or protected behind a glass ... I am also considering that the LRP's special infrared illumination might not work as good.

    Extra Air compressor

Can I buy stainless steel versions of the disconnects? I am not seeing the SS up at my goto local Harbor Freight!

    Hot Water for HP Rinse?

In some climates where the temperature of the surfaces on the vehicle can be way below zero Fahrenheit ... I would think that hot could even crack the glass??? On the flip side ... it is true that even with our tempered water (lukewarm) (on soap only) sometimes a customer will seek us out...

    eBay crap

Mac & others, You would think that if there was no payment via PayPal or whatever there would be no commission obligation from you or any other seller to Ebay!!! They do have possibly penalties for whatever ... not sure. As a buyer I have been satisfied with Ebay & PayPal reversal support. I...

    Extra Air compressor

I notice that the quick disconnects themselves & also leaving blow nozzles on them tend to leak more than they should. Maybe we are buying the el cheapo versions of the quick disconnects. We would love to find a way to keep air leaks down to zero to save on our air compressors! We have...

    eBay crap

Mac, I am getting ready to start selling rather than just buying. Can you tell us or share a link to the part of the agreement where Ebay can put a seller on the hook for $100 WOW. Hmmm ... collection agency .... potential garnishment ... all because of some hidden fine print ... a kind of...

    Quickbooks Expense

Just a thought ... banks may charge for automatic transfer of the net payroll amounts if the employee does not have an account with the same bank. Not sure of if that is much of a cost factor though???

    Happy Veterans Day!!

That is great to hear & see the car wash participation & probably is an advantage of some of the better card &/or paper or metal token setups! A friend of mine (a local state senator) just had some great local TV interviews about when he was over in Berlin in the Military 30 years ago...

How to self-audit credit card usage

Just a thought ... our entry level ATM that we have had installed for over 7 years now ... it seems like has a lot more robust reporting of every speck of interaction with credit card usage. Just sharing an observation ... not wanting to butt heads with the 100% cashless proponents.

    Quickbooks Expense

I never did know if a form of Quickbooks Pro automated the payment of the list of gov't entities & the independent contractors (1099misc) after the amounts are generated. How often varies depending on how much liability is generated per week or whatever. For me that tends to be quarterly...
