I'm looking at a well-running SS car wash that is about two hours from my home. I doubt I'll go through with it but it made me wonder what folks consider too far to own a car wash if you have someone local to run the day-to-day.

That's how I feel about it - plus the additional lost time to get up and running, plus the potential lost revenue of closing one bay.

I like the two high pressure lines idea - that would be much cheaper and easier than moving the motor room! The existing underground plumbing was direct-buried. We'll put in sleeves/chases this time to make replacement much easier in the future.
