    mitter or top brush?

I only had manual retracts on my top Brushes so I will let someone else here comment on auto retracts. My manual ones will let the brush clean the hood and roof and the loader would hit the retract switch for the Bed. So, of course it would not do the top Side rails. They also had to remember...

    mitter or top brush?

There is a trade off. Brush will clean better than Mitters. Brush will have more hassles and the amount depends on demographics. For Pick up trucks and other vehicles with roof racks you will need re tracts for the brush which of course affects cleaning (Same issue with Taxis with large roof...

Need a Fragramatics Wand & Brush for Shampooer

Save yourself headaches and hassle and buy this new. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-41333-fragramatics-vac-077-hose-brush-for-svsr.aspx Often trying to hook up existing tubing and wiring to a brush head can be a huge PITA plus if the head is bad, it's likely the hose shows signs of wear.

    Rear Wiper tape

Never had an issue. The masking tape adhesive is not the best and by the time it's soaking wet at the end of the wash process it's about ready to fall off, plus it's mostly on the glass and not the paint.

Vac question at nearby SS wash

I think there is an issue with some operators not being able to fix stuff themselves. That leads to the path of least resistance. I have a buddy who places vacuums and air machines on a revenue sharing basis and some operators call him to service their stuff. I don't know what you do for a...

Opinion on this vac motor from Kleen-Rite

Therein lies the question vis a vis value of time and increased value of Brush replacement. Does it increase the life by 50%? 100%? How much time does it take you or an employee who could be doing something else(If nothing else to do then there is no incremental cost) from the moment you start...

High Pressure Floats for Wash Tank

No, was looking for a virtually no maintenance one. If I want maintenance I will stay with the 573 keeping a spare on hand along with Diaphragm kits.
