    So Lets think about this…

Right and what i am saying is that the scale gives you another form to audit you sales.

    So Lets think about this…

Neither, I am simply talking about getting a correct count on the coins. I didn't understand what MEP meant with the picture, I have never seen or heard of someone doing that, I thought it’s no wonder there are so many coins in the box the funnel is upside down!!! LOL, But I don’t think like a...

    So Lets think about this…

Well now I am checking 3 ways, timers, bills and scale, my timer count in never consistently under so if this guy was checking his timer count he may have found out what was going on, my attendant only has a key to get inside the building, not for anything else, learned that lesson a long time...

    So Lets think about this…

You cant trust anyone can you? Check and double check, advise to nebiews,This is something to check on a regular basis. I do have an employee with keys, this is what made me buy the scale. Your a smart guy, i know that but do these coins amount to $100.00' s of dollars? Even if you missed some...

    So Lets think about this…

So let’s think about this… OK, so I bought a coin scale. For years I have been just taking the coin count from the gin-san timers and matching that with the bills taken from the coin machine, believing this and in the hope that they were right. So the coin scale says 934.00, the #’s on the...

    24 Volt Transformer output...

I tested 5 other transformers in the carwash and all were only about 3 volts over, using the same meter which is a digital Fluke, in fact i checked them with 2 different Fluke meters with the same result, even checked 2 in my house, one was a 16v for the doorbell and that was close to 19v and a...

    24 Volt Transformer output...

Installed a 120v to 24v / 40va transformer to use for electronic tree vendor. Tested the output on the transformer, supposed to be 24v but it is closer to 30v (29.665), this is with no load on the the transformer, every other one I tested is only 2 or 3 volts over, could this be a problem?

    Vacuum wire type and size.

Actually i was wrong, the leads off the motor are #18. I know the vac wire is quite small, figured it was probably #16, but I was more curious about the type of wire used as stated in the original post.

    Vacuum wire type and size.

Using Lamb 119414 x 2 on each vac, they don't list the watts on the motor. I am using a 20 amp breaker, there is only #16 wire coming out of the motors so i can't imagine they are drawing much amperage, I'm talking about the type of wire that is used on the vac itself, not the wiring to the vac.

    Vacuum wire type and size.

What type of wire is used in vacuums? Is it tew, mtw, awm. Also what size would it be 14, 16, 18?

Changing to Dixmor for Gs-31 gin san timer...

Sorry meant to say Changing to Dixmor from ginsan gs-31. Seems like it would be pretty simple, just the hot and ground, pulse and timed output in the bay and not through the gs-401 timer, bypassing the gs-401 and sending direct to the dixmor, sounds simple, but am i right?

    head washout

Am I correct in saying that cavitation is caused by starvation and washed out is caused by something in the water, abrasive, chlorine, hard water, etc. Remove the inlet and outlet valves, where the valves seat in the head you will see cavitation, the surface should be smooth, if it is pitted...

    Carwash Transformers...

What is the proper way to prevent a floating ground? This is from Micron: 75va<transformer ÷ 24v = 3.12 amp. x this by 1.67 (167%) <allowable % of overcurrent = 5.21 amp. I was having problems when I purchased all new ginsan gs-401 timers for the bays, I had installed momentary switches...

    Carwash Transformers...

Currently I am using the Micron group C 120x240 volt transformers, they are 75Va, I am using them 240v, they seem like a good quality transformer, they were the same transformers that were in the wash when I purchased it in 1986, at that time there was only soap, rinse, wax, we added TC, and FB...
