    Washworld Profile

Our top wash for $13 that includes undercarriage, wheel scrub, triple foam, clear-coat protectant and sealer and spot-free rinse takes 7.5 min.; our $10 wash without the triple foam and clear-coat takes 5.5 min. and our basic $7 wash which is just wash...

    Washworld WW Profile recommendations

Greg, send me an email @ Cheetahcarwash@gmail.com. I wrote a lengthy reply to Claus in Australia, which is too long to put on this site. I'll forward you a copy of what I sent to him. Arlene Wilkins, Owner/Mgr. Cheetah Express Car Wash

Am travelling in Europe and will be back in the States on the 15th. Send me another email with your private email address and I'll respond once I get back and organized in my office. Can't figure out how to do a private response with this new forum. Arlene Wilkins, Cheetah Express.

I Thought I'd Seen It All

He hasn't contacted us; and if he did, we wouldn't pay him anything. Our disclaimer sign includes "non-factory installed items."

I Thought I'd Seen It All

This morning a guy went through our wash (WW Profile-Max) with a X-mas wreath attached to the front of his truck. It looked nice going in, but not so much going out. Ha! As we say, There's No Cure For Stupid.

    Thinking about a WW Profile

Will try to find a video that one of the WashWorld-Central TX techs took when we first opened. Might be on YouTube. Tried to post a still-pic on this site, but was unable to.

    Thinking about a WW Profile

We have contracted with WashWorld for a Profile-Max. Work will start end of August. Will be replacing a PDQ Pro-Touch Tandem. We did our homework and are confident the WW Profile will have less service problems and will be more durable than the Tandem. Hope to be fully operational 2nd week...

    Quarter wrapper supply?

We buy them on Amazon in a 1,000-count box, $15.99. Worth the cost.

    Depositing Quarters

Our business account is with Wells Fargo. We bought a coin sorter, run the quarters through it into rollers, stack them into a box and take them into Wells Fargo along with the cash. We end up with about $130 to $150/wk. in quarters from 2 vacuums and our Access Machine. The coin sorter is...

Had it with trash dumpers. Getting rid of trash cans.

It's not just the self-service business that has trash problems. Ours is a single bay IBA with vac island with just 2 vacs. But we just must have alot of trashy people in our area because besides the vac trash cart in the middle of the island, we have three 45-gal. trash cans (bolted to the...

Had it with trash dumpers. Getting rid of trash cans.

Can definitely relate to the pizza boxes and 2-litre soda bottles (many still filled and heavy), but it's the dirty diapers that really gross me out. They're a common item in a vac trash cart. Unbelievable.

    Paystation for PDQ 360?

Glad to know I'm not the only one with Access Machine problems. You're right about the constant problems and expensive parts. Mostly serious printer jams and bill dispenser not giving change. An extra bill dispenser drawer costs almost $1,000! But we thought it practical to have so we can...

Cash or cashless for unattended wash?

We built our wash in 2016 and put in a top of the line Access Machine by PDQ. We do about 60%-40% credit cards to cash in this rural area of Texas. It's self-contained and very safe and solid as a rock. Takes up to $20 bills and gives cash back in dollars. Our wash is a single bay IBA (PDQ...

    Bill Acceptor Cleaner Cards

We use an "alcohol-free" bill accessor cleaning card made by Suzo-Happ Group. Will not harm belts. Easy to find on Amazon. Amazing the amount of dirt that comes back on them when ejected.

Had it with trash dumpers. Getting rid of trash cans.

Just to clarify -- we still have the trash cart in the middle of the vacuum island as well as three 45-gal. trash cans. People can no longer dump large items in the dumpster because of the gravity bar.
