One of my vacuums intermittently clicks constantly and I can't figure out why. I have a slug buster two coin acceptor and an IDX timer. The little metal piece that detects the coin when it goes through the chute is constantly clicking back-and-forth randomly. When I move the face plate a certain...
I upgraded my gold line to a crypto pay swipe and tap a couple of years ago. It's worked flawlessly. The conversion was easy and it processes cards a lot faster than my old dial-up set up. I've had crypto pay in my Wand bays for several years and they've worked great.
I'm wondering the same thing. What really needs fixing or maintaining for 40 hours a week? I don't think I spend 40 hours repairing / maintaining car wash equipment in 6 months at my wash!
I don't know I feel like the sexual innuendo stuff is kind of over used in many forms of advertising. I don't think you have to get too clever with a name. I think most people put way too much emphasis on it when the most important aspect of the name is "car wash". I think pride and ego get...
Yes. I have a friend who is very good with electronics, circuit boards, and speakers. He used to build high-end sound equipment in Boston years ago. I will definitely take a look at the old one because I doubt it's too complicated.
Oh I already ordered a new one from Autowash Maintenance and it's on the way. I just wondered about the possibility of repairing or rebuilding the old one and keeping it as a spare.
my announcement speaker in my automatic bay went bad and I ordered a new one. These speakers are expensive. Has anyone had any luck repairing them and keeping them on the shelf for a spare?
I have a razor but not the edge. It's fast, reliable, and my distributor Autowash Maintenance set it up to really clean the car well. I use three presoaks and it cleans the heck out of the cars. I'm getting $22 for my top package and over 50% of my customers choose it. The razor replaced my old...
my wash
the picture of my old side trac features my first distributor, Harry Curth. he did the whole installation completely by himself; automatic, blowers, pay station, changer, self-serve equipment, vacuums.

I don't think I would be comfortable with a customer controlling the delivery of any products in the wash, that is to say driving through at their own pace for things like soap wax sealer etc. I say this based on the fact that many customers can't or won't properly drive through my freestanding...
Oh OK I understand the program now that makes sense.
As far as my stop position I have no idea that's the way my distributor set it up almost 20 years ago.
but wouldn't that be a problem if they turn the knob the wrong way and quickly turn past the stop selection while washing the car? On my rotary switch stop is at the bottom so if they were at foamy brush and wanted to select rinse or wax they would have to turn the knob clockwise to get to the...
