    lazer 360 and 360plus

I just finished my first full year with a new Razor and couldn't be much happier. No more tinkering on my old in-bay every couple weeks. I did a full remodel with Airlift doors and Extrutech wall panels. Having the Razor is incredible; 100 car days are no big deal for the equipment. As one...

Buying a bank repo touchless with IQ system

And now you want to play real estate operator? Who is going to run the place? What is the daily traffic count? What kind of neighborhood is it in? What's the competition like? You say the rest of his assets are worthless what makes you think this one is any better?

Buying a bank repo touchless with IQ system

What is your experience in the car wash business? I would suggest you do some serious due diligence to determine the true reason the wash failed. Based on your questions, you need alot more knowledge about the car wash business. Maybe you can contact the previous owner, offer to buy them...

    I’m an embarrassment

I admit that hogs hair brushes may be slightly gentler on the car, but they just don't have the cleaning power of the nylon. You can't bear down as much and really scrub without the bristles flattening out. And when the customers dry wash the car they get ruined fast.

    I’m an embarrassment

you're spoiling them too much!!! if nylon is good enough for my detail shop it's good enough for my customers. plus i think nylon gets the car cleaner. true fact .

Air Compressor - Breaker Tripping off

The air compressor is such a vital part of the car wash that I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy a cheap one in the first place. The champion centurion two that I bought 18 years ago has worked perfectly for almost 2 decades. I would say that the price was justified!

    Need Banner Ideas

I was going to use a banner to advertise my new razor last year when I got it. My friend Eric suggested I rent an electronic two-sided sign. It was the best thing I ever did. It was so successful that I rented it again this year for two months around the holidays. Yes it's expensive cost me...

WashWorld razor. Because of its speed, wash quality, reliability, value, build quality, computer interface, remote accessibility, ease of Maintenance, ease of programmability, options, corporate culture, responsiveness of tech-support, accessibility to company management by end users… Am I...

    Automatic price increase

in a business decision like pricing you have to consider a lot more than the customer perception. Yes the customer is an important part of the equation but it's not all you have to consider. You should also think about the cost of the improvements you made as well as the customer...

I want to start in the car wash business

I don't think you'll get too much of a response on this forum regarding a hand car wash. Most of the operators on here have either self service car wash bays or automatic washes, either in Bay or fiction tunnels.

    Washworld Razor III

Congrats on your purchase. I don't have experience with used, but my Razor is a year old and has been great. I have replaced one set of stop eyes early on but that's it. Just routine maintenance and fill the chemicals. Price as high as your market will bear. That's what I did and it is been...

    Automatic price increase

there is too much space between your top and bottom wash pricewise. I would've just bit the bullet and gone to $20 for the top wash. Psychologically, it's not a big jump for the customer between $18 and $20. $18 already feels like $20 to the customer so why not make the extra two bucks? Make...

Weirdos, wackos and people who can't read signs

I was working at the car wash one Sunday morning when a woman in a Subaru pulled in. She parked her car near my dumpster and got out to talk to me. she was clearly agitated. In a panicky voice, she explained how her luggage carrier on top of the car was locked and she couldn't get into it. I...
