I think Waxman's number is low and I think he was saying that if it penciled out with it then go for it. My experience is that even a half percent is on the low side. It's very possible that they are getting one percent of traffic.

That is all repairable for cheap compared to spending $200K or more on new equipment.

Did you clean that filter really well? You may have to blow it clean with an air gun as some of those have multi layered screens. What is your water pressure at the Hydrominder? What size tip is in the Hydrominder? Like Mep pointed out that valve is not open all the way.

Why do you think it needs replaced? Most equipment can be repaired or gone through to make reliable. The stuff in the bays are what your customer sees and that should look good.

IIRC Dencar is now installing the supposedly more reliable BNR. Looks more like ATM quality which makes sense because Phil's background is in ATMs.

I tried that on mine and after a while it melted the wax overheat bulb.

Why paint in the first place? To make it brighter? Seems like really high maintenance. If the wash is in a decent area then PVC wall panels are probably more cost effective long term.

I found that you can buy a diesel heater to add to an existing pressure washer but they are still pricey. Over $3,000 so it would be hard to justify but maybe I could find a decent used one.

We can if we all do it. Problem might be is if you have good competition that still accepts cash you might lose some of your cash customers.
