it's great that Eric was able to help out with this part. But I can't help but think that this is not a Proprietary part. https://www.grainger.com/search?searchQuery=gear+belt+pulley&searchBar=true

    Chemical choices for IBA

I'm driving myself crazy trying to choose a chemical line for my new WW Razor. I plan to order from Kleen-Rite, because I have had a very good experience over the past decade with them. I think I'd like to choose a manufacturer and buy solely from their product line. I have also had very good...

    What did you upgrade to?

you get a lot more than LEDs and faster wash times with a new touch free machine. Think about everything being brand new. I was looking over the pump stand on my new razor and there is a feature that lets you use hot cold or a mix of both on each low pressure application. You can individually...

    M5 arm over travel

I diagnose these problems like this: prox / cable end / cable / relay on input/output card.

    M5 arm over travel

It sounds like sometimes the torque from HP rinse is causing the prox target to go out of range slightly from the prox. On my old machine, no prox was 3/8" from a target. They were much closer. If you can adjust the prox closer to the target and still ensure safe operation, that's where I'd...

    Installing used units

I like the idea of starting out with everything brand new. Think of all the crud that builds up in solenoids, valves and hoses. Think of the wear and tear on bearings, pulleys and belts. All of the deferred maintenance that's going to cause a failure. For a new operator, it's hard enough...

    Newbie Evaluation

If your rough numbers are to signify ( hopeful) cars per day using your wash, the multiplier I used when building new was .003, or 3/10 of 1%. I never hit my # based on D.T.C, so for me, it wasn't conservative enough. I think cashless is a bad idea. You never want to limit the ways in...

    Quick vending question

I like soda vending. I would like to refine the process by buying in bulk, maybe 20 cases at a time. The vending machine is more of an interesting and fun thing; not a big profit but it all helps and its pretty easy.

    Would stronger presoak help this?

Did you ever think that maybe the car in the first picture had something stubborn on it? It doesn't look like normal dirt / carbon soot to me. It looks more like construction dust or cement dust to me. I would run a number of test cars through if it were me before I went changing or adjusting...

    Hit and Run

I would go with just a metal arm and no covers at all and run like that till you can get the covers. I would also install something like this. This is not finished yet. it will have a much different look once I add the signs to this framework but it will have a hard stop across the framework...

I'm talking about a full pass over the vehicle; not going from mirror to mirror like the BAS programming.

    Caulk

Not sure yet. I've used the clear and it still looks clear years later, so I think the white should hold up well. It will have a good long cure period before any dirt and water are introduced to it, so maybe that will help, too.
