    Video can't solve all

You can't fix stupid Earl. Let them threaten all they want. Any reasonable person knows it's not a good idea to run the wipers going through a car wash. If they post negative things on social media respond to the ones you can in a thoughtful manner. Anyone who isn't smart enough to not run the...

New Cars with Auto Braking- Increasing Problem

Better cameras to have good video of the incident.

What interior dressing/protectant do you pros use.

There are plenty of products that protect and restore plastic surfaces back to factory look. Aerosol products like Pro Shine are the best in my opinion. Any detail shop using Armorall needs to get into the 21st century and use more modern methods and products.

What are you currently doing for advertising?

My sign is from Watchfire. They had a much more user friendly software package than Daktronics. I can create a new message in minutes that is very high qualty imagery. http://www.watchfiresigns.com

    My complimentary towel drying station...

Thank God you stopped calling them rags in your new setup. I think people will treat them with a little more respect.

What are you currently doing for advertising?

I bought a digital billboard 3 years ago. 8'w x 6'h double sided. It has definately been a great purchse for my wash. Even though I agree with Robert that buying a wash is not an impulse buy for most consumers, there is a reason why McDonalds, etc constantly flood the market with advertising...

    Chrysler/Jeep/Ram Neutral Lockout Transmissions

I have to believe that there is a way to get these vehicles into neutral without the engine running. In order to service them in a scenario where the engine would not run it might be necessary to roll the vehicle.

    Chrysler/Jeep/Ram Neutral Lockout Transmissions

It looks like I was wrong about having a way to put those vehicles in neutral with the engine off. Most of the other makes work as I suggested but the Chrysler products don't.

    Chrysler/Jeep/Ram Neutral Lockout Transmissions

Put the vehicle in park and shut off the engine. Without putting your foot on the brake turn the key to the Run position or if a pushbutton start press the button twice to get to the run position. You will now be able to place the transmission in neutral. Some of these vehicles have an auto...

    2nd Hydraulic Pack

That's a cool setup Tom, but a $3000 motor plus a VFD seems a little excessive to me.

    2nd Hydraulic Pack

I have always used a seperate hydraulic pack for my conveyor. It makes sense for a couple of reasons. I like to be able to only turn on the other pieces of equipment when there is actually a vehicle in that area of the wash. I use 4 seperate packs to accomplish this. I also use water based...

    ICS Support VS DRB Support

In addition to being a DRB customer, I live just minutes away from the corporate headquarters. I have seen their support call center and it is a very impressive operation. Dozens of tech support employees in a room that resembles something you might see at NASA or the Pentagon. A huge video wall...

    ICS Support VS DRB Support

I have been a DRB customer for over 25 years. The old adage that you get what you pay for is very true in the case of tech support. When you call DRB you will get a tech support person virtually every call. And if that person can't find a solution they will pass it on to a person who can. No...

    Belanger Spinlite

Thats because you have to buy both sets and a high pressure pumping station. I would be interested in buying one set and I already have a pumping station to use with that set.

Robert, there is a high pressure rinse arch just before the wet environment drying area at the Belanger wash.

If you watch this video of the Belanger SpinLite wash you will see that they have positioned an entire blower system before the final drying agent arch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGBbYEa9p8o&list=PLlV5uS6bmlO7gX7lY-vJtmtSkTGx34Gvs
