The arm proxes should all be "off" when the arms are fully retracted (out). As the arms come in, the proxes should turn "ON", and as they go fully closed, they should go "off". If you have one shorting on when fully retracted, the machine shouldn't arm. If it wasn't shorted when armed, and it...
The Softgloss can wash a dually, so long as you don't use wheel scrub. If you use the HP wheel blaster, it would work fine. For the customizability of wash packages, this year, we released WashBuilder which will give you much more flexibility in letting you create the wash package you would...
In a 33' bay, a Softgloss with on-board dry can wash up to around a 21' long vehicle using a short bay kit. The short bay would allow the rear arms to fold in during non-brush passes so it can travel further to the rear.
No. Just use the forward/reverse drive switches. Without the endstop proxes being connected, that will likely allow the machine to move.
What can happen is that if you have a machine that is driving reverse, and the front endstop prox flickers for some reason, the machine knows it's out of...
It most likely had a flicker of one of the endstop proxes while it was in a cycle causing it to be out of sequence.
Please try removing wire 45 from PLC input X51, and also wire 46 from PLC input X53. This should allow you to manually drive the gantry. Drive it to the middle of the track...
Please try to push the machine just a little and cause it to rock. If it does, most likely one (or both) of your drive wheel keystocks are either worn, or at least loose. The set screws in the reducer collars that lock the keystock into position need to be tightened monthly. If they have been...
Is this a US2001 OHD model machine? If so, what is the serial number? Which breaker is tripping? It should be marked with a Q followed by a number. I agree it's likely a water solenoid coil pulling too much current.
Most likely, yes. Possible it could be a connection, but more likely it will be the prox. Take a look at the face and make sure it hasn't shaved the front from too close of contact to the trip plate.
The 8811 code indicates the front endstop is shorted on, and the sequence code 0122 is when...
Great! That helps!
8812 is front endstop prox open code, so the PLC isn't always seeing that input when it thinks it should. If it is happening in sequence code 0000 (machine not in cycle), then it's losing it while at home position. It can also happen when driving from rear to front as it...
When the machine is parked at home position, you should have PLC input X7 for the front endstop turned on. As the machine drives forward, that prox should detect the target and cause the machine to decelerate until it parks within 1" of the endstop bumpers with it's track stays on the inside of...
A code 77 is related to the dryer air-flow flags not transitioning properly, so if you have a Thrust Pro, the follower likely isn't dropping for you.
Which model of machine do you have? If wall mounted, is it the older US2001 OHD model, or is it a Radius which also uses ultrasonics?
For...
You are checking the right area with the level, but you need to do it with the reducer and shaft removed. With the reducer in place, you won't get an accurate reading.
I agree with Soapy. After you remove the reducer, put a level across the ends of that arm across the shaft slot. If they aren't level, it would put a load against that reducer flange when tightened, and could cause it to fail as shown.
Your Softgloss is already capable to support up to 2 off-board chem arches following the wash, as well as an RO arch. Just need to adjust some D-timers and change your arming bits. A rainbar will work well for RO, but to get good coverage on the sides, you will want some type of an arch rather...
With the codes you provided, 0102 is the sequence code, and that describes that the machine is washing reverse after detecting the rear tire with the photoeye. The code 1004 is a vehicle left early code, which usually indicates a loss of bayplate.
There could be a couple of things happening...
