I had the same problem many years ago when I converted a self-service bay that was not visibly obvious from the road. I gave away free washes for two weekends in a row. That got the ball rolling. That was in 1994 before social media and the internet as we know it now.

Ditto to what David m said. Switch to 2001 never looked back golden US dollar coins. Somebody puts a 20 in my coin machine can you imagine what they get in quarters? Not only a convenience for the customer but speeds up people's time tying up your equipment not pumping multiple...
It gets challenging on a very busy day the customer has already left and you're not there. Also replying publicly versus privately. Replying publicly depending on what you're doing to satisfy the customer you leave the door open for all the people looking for a freebie for nothing.
We all know there is no 100% touchless wash consistency. That being said as long as your wash is working consistency and correctly and someone gives you a poor review how would you respond? We all know that MAY be the car from hell that hasn't been washed in 6 months but how do you respond not...
