    Sensortron troubles -

Got it working .. changed out the two power wires from the terminal block that wire nut to the yellow and black wires of the sensortron and it’s working. I assume they must’ve been like 1carwash1 mentioned and were dropping the voltage...were definitely old wires. And yes.. 24vac not 24 amps 😉

    Sensortron troubles -

I need some help from hopefully Dan if he's checking the forums or one of you other electronics wizards.. One of my bays has a Sensortron that is rejecting all quarters. I've swapped out to a new sensortron, same thing. I swapped one from another bay and it does the same thing, and then put...

    Nozzles blocking

This is usually what happens to me .. when a nozzle or two start blocking up, usually a broken hose follows within the next few weeks. It's just pieces from the inside of the hose coming loose, really nothing to do but wait for the hose to break and replace it. When everything froze down here...

    Dynawash lives on!

Hey Greg, what kind of wrapping do you do? I've always just designed decals and had them made online, but have been thinking there might be better ways to do it .. like maybe the vinyl car wraps or something?

    Dynawash lives on!

I agree with washnshine - different thought processes for different people. I can see replacing if the new machinery was better -- however, I've driven through quite a few 'better' machines throughout the years and haven't seen any difference over the ones I've got besides a new look and new...

    Dynawash lives on!

:) These comments always makes me laugh .. you're right, I could pour $150k and upgrade to a new snazzy looking touch free with the bells and whistles -- or I could spend less than $10k and add colored LEDs, rain bars, graphics, etc. I could even add a touchscreen cashier to 'modern' it up...all...

    Dynawash lives on!

They are definitely still around .. I'm still running one installed in 1999! As long as it's kept clean and the chemicals are kept right there is very little maintenance and it cleans better than most other touch free's I've been through. The 'most' is because mine has a sliding bar at the top...

Pics of Cryptopay/Credit Swiper box setup

That is basically what I was thinking, down to the aluminum plate - thanks for the pic! The only difference is I won’t be able to get a drill into the coin box to drill straight across to meet another hole, so I think I’m going to have to do as a MEP said and drill an angled hole to the box.

Pics of Cryptopay/Credit Swiper box setup

My plan is to put it to the right of the coin box and then angle a hole to it. Above the coin vault like you suggested could work, but I think the functionality and aesthetics being next to the controls would be better.

Pics of Cryptopay/Credit Swiper box setup

When you say panel, are you thinking something like a stainless steel sheet that will stand off the brick a 1/2" or so, maybe edges folded in so it looks solid? That's kind of what I've been picturing in my head..

Pics of Cryptopay/Credit Swiper box setup

I'm beginning the process of researching adding credit cards to the bays; unfortunately, my first location's boxes will be too small for the swiper, so it'll need to go on the brick. Wanted to see if anyone had some pictures if they've had to set theirs up in the same manner - here's a look at...

Compressor problem - tripping breaker when trying to start under pressure

Wanted to update - got the new pressure switch and that fixed the problem... I can now hear the air purging when the compressor cuts off. As MEP noted, the motor has probably been weakened since it's been running without unloading the air for years, but for now it seems to be working fine --...

Compressor problem - tripping breaker when trying to start under pressure

That's basically what I did when I let all the air out of the tank/pump, then started it up .. it started just fine with no pressure, so I think having pressure in the pump is what is stopping the motor. I agree with MEP that the motor should get it going anyway (it's been running this way for...

Compressor problem - tripping breaker when trying to start under pressure

So Randy, you're saying the pressure switch may have the 'unloading' valve attached to it? I've always seen it at the tank where the check valve is, but I figured there should be one somewhere on the compressor. I'll take a look and see what there is - would the pressure switch actually...

Compressor problem - tripping breaker when trying to start under pressure

I've got a Puma pk5030v compressor which has started to trip the breaker when it tries to start up with pressure in the tank. The motor tries to turn the pump, but it can't get it moving and then trips the breaker. When I expel all the air and let it start up with an empty tank, it will kick...

    LED exit timer for dryer

Definitely Dixmor...they’ve repaired a few for me quickly and thoroughly. Just send in the board and description of the problem. If the numbers are getting dim, they can replace the LEDs also

    CoinCo Mag getting strung

Yeah, as I said in a previous post I disabled the refund button long ago - this guy would just sit and wait for it to time out and do it again. I've disabled the call function (the customers can call me if they have a problem, don't need the wash calling me also). I did finally get the new...

    O-ring for 4" RO Housing

I agree with MEP, I think this is a different one than what I'm looking for. I found this one, going to give it a shot for $7.. https://wateranywhere.com/external-o-ring-for-4-end-plug-of-membrane-housing/

    O-ring for 4" RO Housing

Do any of you guys know the size for the o-ring that sits between the black cap and the housing for a 4"x40" RO setup, looks like the one pictured below? The housing I have has been leaking from the endcap -- I think whomever replaced the o-ring before used one a bit too thin, and it is able to...
