I was able to source a SXT timer and powerhead compatible with the 9500 off ebay. I was able to also replace the capacitor on the ET board and it works. Display is now working.
I do personally like the display on the nxt and XT timers the best. I bought a 3200NXT timer but apparently it...
It partially works. The display flickers, it seems the programming function isn’t stable - numbers will advance as if someone presses the up arrow. There’s a bad capacitor on the board I will replace to see if it helps. Otherwise I’m looking for a replacement timer that is compatible with the...
Next challenge is the timer - it has a timer pictured - believe it’s a 3200ET. What newer units would be compatible with the 9500 valve and power head?
lol - I’m too much of a manufacturing guy. Basically an error proofing feature in a design or part. Here’s a good link to the topic.

the wrong parts should not be installable but in fact they were. Slight difference in shaft length made it very hard to detect. A poke yoke would have made the pistons different shapes and colors. Bags can be mislabeled or packed incorrectly.
I’m not sure yet on part numbers. Will post when I learn more. Apparently the concept of a poke yoke has not been implemented in this industry. A wrong part should not be installable…
Finally I figured this riddle out!!! I was sold the wrong upper piston. The commercial 9500 has a shorter shaft than the residential model. Shout out to Clearwater in Clearlake Michigan for giving me this idea and I was able to troubleshoot it. About 8mm difference in shaft length made the...
Cameras, signs about cameras, lighting made a big difference. Plus having trash or lot cleaning is critical. If it looks like sh!!! people treat it that way. Fast graffiti clean up is also critical. Of course inflation is a side benefit that cans of spray paint are now really expensive and...
Thank you. One theory I am exploring is that the upper piston might not have the correct plunger length causing an incorrect position. I am hoping that might be it. A out of spec piston seems plausible since it’s hard to believe 2 valve bodies would be bad. One of them is essentially nos.
My hope would be someone who has the 24v universal board already in their machine would confirm the label on the supply.
I have the old 110v legacy system hence my question. None of the websites selling the 24v universal board show the label on the power supply. I sense it’s overpriced when...
Hi guys - Does anyone happen to know the specs for the 24v power supply required to drive an American changer universal board, the hopper and a validator? I see that mean well makes it and you can buy them from Mouser or TRC but American changer won’t tell me the specs. Thanks!
