The last time I had a good laugh while at my self serve I was ____________________________________________________

Looking at the camera footage and saw someone drive their riding lawn mower down the street, into the wash and wash it.

    Nayak Vs Monex Vs CryptoPay

Yes, I used the same options as Cantbreak80 above noted. I had Nayax make some changes on their end then I populated the configuration into the web interface. I then had to call Nayax support again because they still didn't work, but they fixed it. It seems like a bit of a convoluted install...

    Pressure setting

I run 1200 psi with a 4006. Pumps are Wanner Engineering D10. Water is stupid expensive where I am but people seem happy with the volume and pressure. I get compliments weekly.

    Nayak Vs Monex Vs CryptoPay

I'm happy with my Nayax units. Have had them on for about a year now without any issues. I had them hooked up with a big physical stop button. Nayax was good to deal with once you got someone on the phone. Count-up is great.

Flow Meters. Are there any good ones?

Thanks Randy. I'm not sure if the chemicals froze. When I rebuilt some items on the pump stand there was evidence to indicate that some things may have frozen. I just mixed the last couple buckets of soap from the left over stuff so it's time to order new soap now anyways. Maybe I'll order wax...

Flow Meters. Are there any good ones?

2Biz, your machine room must be beautiful based on those couple photos, that is a nice setup. Right now when I mix the soap I put about 500 ml in my pails and fill the rest with water. I then dial in the flow to the HP pumps and I find between 2 and 4 GPH provides a good "show" and "scent" in...

Flow Meters. Are there any good ones?

After inspecting I believe the leak is where the plastic of the Dwyer meter meets the brass fittings. I will try taking them apart and replacing the Teflon tape. I'll maybe try some pipe dope over a few wraps of Teflon tape and see if that helps.

Flow Meters. Are there any good ones?

That plumbing looks nice and neat. Good work. I have my meters connected with brass fittings to 3/8” tubing. The fittings have little brass ferrules. It’s possible I over tightened them and they have developed a leak over time. I have them attached to the pump with a little section of 1/4”...

Flow Meters. Are there any good ones?

Hmmm. I wonder what I did wrong with these, maybe I should try a different model of flow meter. I was looking at these to replace them as I don't know how I would troubleshoot no soap or no wax conditions if I didn't have some indication of flow. Blue-White FI-100-6V | Flow Indicator For...

Flow Meters. Are there any good ones?

Hi all, I'm thinking of changing up the high pressure soap and high pressure wax setup at my 2 bay self serve wash. When I put the wash back in service I replaced the old flow meters with the Dwyer units in the picture below. These pretty much all started to leak within about the first month...

    Another business besides the carwash?

I am a Contractor and ended up with the 2 bay self-serve wash after my dad passed away. I'm hoping, if I work hard, and put in most of my evenings and weekends, I'll get to "side hustle" income haha

    Washdown with Nayax readers

Nayax included a contactless card for my machines when I ordered. They said you could order more through them. I'd give them a call and see if they will ship you a card.

    Hydrominder Setup for HP Soap/Wax

Thanks for the idea, I might experiment with a piece of 6" pipe, that tank is pretty spendy.

    Hydrominder Setup for HP Soap/Wax

Do you think the 511 is the right Yes, I remember that setup being pretty nice. Once in a while it would lose suction on the hydrominder and be a pain but otherwise it was really easy to deal with.

    Up and Running

Thanks Eric. I hadn’t worked at a car wash since moving away from my hometown 15 years ago. There was a lot to try to remember.

    Up and Running

Hi all, Yesterday I re-opened my late father's car wash that had sat abandoned for more than 5 years. I wanted to say thank you to all those who helped me out with answers to my questions and also show a couple pictures of where I started and where I am today. I know I still have a long way to...

    Hydrominder Setup for HP Soap/Wax

My 2 Bay SS wash currently relies on the operator (me) to properly mix the high pressure soap and wax in pails upstream of the flojet pumps. When I was a kid in the late 80s I remember my dad's old Ginsan setup had a large tank with hydrominders that used to mix the soap and wax in the tank...
