thanks for the imput guys.Ispoke to the rep at car wash consignmenst this am and ordered 2.He is very knowledgeable and more than happy to give advise.as it turns out both the left and right prox are bad(???) or so I hope.I was able to use the one I had in stock that was for the wiper on one...
well my code 66 came back after bending back the wheel scrub chassis prox.I guess the prox is damaged(there are some deep scrape marks on the face).I still dont understqand why it doesnt display a code 10 for the wheel scrubs? are all the prox sensors the same? I have a spare for the wiper which...
Well, I fixed the problem. seems as though if the foward wheel scrub chassis prox is bent and touching the chassis all the time, it wont allow power to flow from the contactor to the motor!!that would explain why the breaker never tripped.
after watching a vehicle get washed and observing the wheel scrubbers work my maching displayed a code 66.the wheel scrubbers will deploy and retract but not spin. I checked all the breakers and they are not tripped.
when I deploy the scrubbers from the control panel I see the contactor retract...
I just got a code 02 on my beeper. in the referance material it states"this is a status 02"...very helpful.has anyone ever gotten this code and what does it mean?
I have air lift doors with ryko controls. during a normal wash, the ryko signals the end of the wash and opens the exit door. as the car leaves it breaks a beam outside the door asnd signals the door to close.
Apparently when the exit door is opened because of an error, this system is over...
tried trning both air press regulators down to o but no dice. apparently the retractor gets a constant 90psi to hold them in as you say. if I could eliminate the air press then I could find some other way to prevent them from drifting into the bay like zip ties or whatever
can you weep the hp guns with reclaim water as I do? Its free. as far as the foaming brush is concerned , I have yet to find a "winter soap" that doesnt freeze at 25deg and I have a large demand for the brushes during the winter.
after a very busy day Christmas eve, I noticed air leaking in a big way from my wheel scrub retractor air cylinder. Its bad and I cant even order a new one untill monday.I tried turning off the wheel scrub feature, closing the air regulator at the mac valve but no dice.I guess the retractor gets...
I realized last night that there is a flaw with my door system/Ryko softgloss. If a customer should do something wrong during the wash process like roll off the treadle, the machine will stop washing and open the exit door. The problem is it will not CLOSE the exit door untill the next customer...

security cameras
Hi, I will be purchasing a new security camera system and was wondering if anyone had some experience with car washcameras.com.I've done some research and am almost ready to pull the trigger. As always the feed back from this forum is valued.

about 2 weeks after a customer managed to get his suv at a 45 degerr angle in my ryko bay, clearing off the wheel scrubber shear pins in the process I have a code 49 roughly every 6 or so cars. All washes are working well, all sensors ect light up on the pc board.
any thoughts?
thanks,
Joe
Hello, I have a 5 ss/iba car wash and have been chasing foul smelling reclaim for some time.I have 3 1500g tanks with a bubbler in the final draw tank.As the weather gets warmer the odor of my reclaim can be bad enough to get comments from my customers.I have added about 5 g of bleach and it...

Ive been in the buisness only 3 years. One of the first upgrades performed was replacing most of the signs.$$$$$$$$$$$$

floor sealer
I have noticed my 13yr old floors looking a little shabby too...Every mason I speak to advises me not to seal them because they will become very slippery
I know there is a sand type of product you could add to the sealer but my concern is the then "sand paper" surface would hold...
I have a ryko softgloss with about 50k washes on it. The wheel scrubber on the left side has been sagging when it deploys for about a year now, getting worse with time. When the scrubs are activated in test mode the left side will touch the ground at full extension, the right side remains almost...
I have a five bay self serve with D&H equipment. There are three low pressure functions on one circut, pre soak, wheel cleaner and wax. Each function has its own low pressure pump and the air is shared by a manifold with solenoid valves. My problem is that the wax function only works properly in one...
