No you are correct the new econo DAN without the box is $1800. According to my recent conversation with Hamilton, you can’t expect anything computer based, like the DAN, to last more than about 5 years. I would rather replace a $375 coordinator than an $1800 DAN every 5 years. My DAN was...
Are you sure? I know worldpay charges $0.06 plus .25% but those are the standard processor charges. That’s what my bank charges. With the DAN, I also get an extra charge for E-xact. Are you saying that cryptopay also has an additional charge like this???
My effective rate for Hamilton is:
$0.40 to my credit card processor for a $10 transaction (my average)
$0.13 to e-xact
$0.11 DAN computer cost over its 9 year obsolescence
$0.06 DAN additional equipment readers and computers during its period of obsolescence
$0.70 or 7% with a DAN. Too high...
I don't think so, but E-xact charges an amount in addition to the credit card processor. Crypto uses World Pay as the processor so you don't have to pay twice.
Did you call Cryptopay? I am switching to Cryptopay. Their coordinator costs around $375. The DAN system cost me $3400+ when I bought it and it is obsolete. Apparently, according to Hamilton, 10 years of use out of their equipment is a long time. I only got 9 years of use out of my DAN...
OK, my Dilling Harris touch select doors have Microcoin QL coin acceptors. One went bad. I cannot find the acceptors with the right harness. The harness that is attached goes down to 4 wires. I did find this harness at Kleenrite. Can anyone tell me whether it may be the same as the one...
OK, my trough on my roof is galvanized steel. It has rusted apart. Do I just find a company that makes ductwork and order what I need? Has anyone found anything that comes insulated that works easier or better or lasts longer?
Thanks
It bothers me to throw away $100+ a month in the vacuum cleanouts. I am sure last month was $200+. If I just grab the coin on top, I can get $20+ of silver without touching the copper or digging through the trash. Does anyone reclaim that coin or does everyone send it to the landfill.
I was...
Fixing an unbroken machine by replacing it with a discontinued machine with proprietary parts seems questionable. I recently had to replace a pdq blower wheel and the only place to get the aluminum wheel is directly from pdq for $2200 for an aluminum blower wheel.
I own a wash and am helping a buddy convert a SS bay into an auto. If you had your choice, which IBA would you use? His SS bays are large. It will be a busy location attached to a gas station with only on IBA. If you are a retailer, feel free to pm costs.
I own two PDQ LW4000's. Recently, the drivers side tire that engages the rail and moves the bridge toward the rear of the car has begun to spin. I replaced the rollers and the tires and it still spins unless the pressure is 45 lbs. The only difference I could find between this rail and the...
Mine cost $500. It was super easy and is as low tech as you get. No pumps needed. I put a tank up high. I used a pickup water tank $240 but wish I would have used a tote $15. I put the tank on a stack of cinder blocks so it was higher than my two automatics water reservoirs. I then ran...
Guess my gripe about handling is that it is a factor of price unless it requires crating. That means a part that need boxing costs the handling as a part that gets dropped in an envelope. Oh well, let me get off my soapbox.
That should be in the price of the item. Please ship mine to me and quit handling it so much. Handling sometimes involves throwing an item in an envelope but still costs as much as boxing an item.
I think the ACW4 feeds a serial to cat5 cable that then goes to a serial to ethernet adapter that has cat5 input and output. That is fairly proprietary, I am thinking. I wonder if I could use a serial cable then a serial to ethernet adapter? Anyone know? $400+ is a lot to pay for a <$100...
