    Vibrating and no pressure wash.

Update. Yes, I reached out to CAT for some advice. I supplied the part number and pictures. The triangular opening on the mounting flange (Pictured above) has 2 set screws inside the opening. There is a second opening on the bottom side of the flange, which is not shown. My set screws happen to...

    Vibrating and no pressure wash.

Any ideas on what I might be missing? I am going to be attempting to pull the flange off again this weekend. I did not want to gorilla strength it off with a pry bar. Does anyone know what the triangle cut-out is for on the flange neck? I can see the shaft inside.

    Vibrating and no pressure wash.

The few minutes I was messing with it…the pump did not pull straight off. I even used a small pry bar to get a purchase and see if it would break loose. I assumed there was a nut or set screw accessed through the triangle opening.

I was pressed for time. Got the bolts off. How is the flange removed? The triangular opening is on both sides of the flange. The top opening had no visible nut or fastener on the shaft. Any suggestions on how to remove ? I will give it a try next visit.

Thank you Randy. I will be checking it out this weekend. I noticed the pump is bolted to the electric motor and it also "threads" into motor. Does the entire pump need to be spun and backed out of the threads?

Hello everyone. Thanks again for all the replies. I am back with an update after parts install and troubleshooting. Bay 1 with low pressure and pulsating/vibrating gun. I swapped out the 6 valves with CAT brand valves. Old valves were gummed up a bit, but all appeared to be in working condition...

    Vibrating and no pressure wash.

Hi Randy. No, I did not check the head for any signs of head washout. I am not familiar with the term. I don't know what that is. Ok, I will get the city water hose to the pump and see how it goes. Thank you.

Great. Thanks for the suggestions. I will do all of it and see what I come up with.

    Vibrating and no pressure wash.

Thanks for the reply Blanco. How would I check the valves? I have replaced the seals on a Cat pump. Never checked or done a valve. I will check out youtube and see what I can find. I don't know if the electric motor is turning. The motor butts right up to the pump with no visible belt to check...

    Vibrating and no pressure wash.

Hello all. I am still very new to the SS world. Been operating my wash for 14 months now. I have had to learn quite a bit on the fly. The business came with no instructions or guide book. I recently have come across 2 problems that I cannot figure out. One bay is vibrating pretty bad when...

Crypto Swipers with Tap Plus install?

We installed Tap Plus about 6 months ago. No complaints from customers or myself. Nobody has asked about a swipe option. So far, averaging about $100 day on 4 bay SS.

Crypto Tap Plus and Dixmor LED7 assistance

I have not looked into that. I was present for the wiring, but did not physically do it. I was unaware there was different wiring sequences for count up and down.

Crypto Tap Plus and Dixmor LED7 assistance

Greetings everyone. Recently installed Crypto Tap Plus and Dixmor LED7 at 4 wash bays. I am having a very difficult time programming the two to work in conjunction with each other. I have gone over all the instructions, but keep coming up short. The Crypto Tap will process payment, but the wash...

Checking back in with an update. Crypto Tap Plus installed at the 4 was bays with Dixmor 7. Crypto is not live yet, but installed. The programming is kicking my butt. I am fairly handy, but for some reason the Dixmor is giving me hell. I can't figure out how to adjust the bonus quarter time. I...

Ok, got it. Looks like swapping to tokens will be more expensive if I have to upgrade to the slugbuster 2.

Thanks Dan. Yes, I called it an LED screen. Dixmor LED7 timer which mounts in the new side mount box. My understanding is slugbusters can adjust for tokens. Is that correct?

Pics of backside of meterbox. Crypto tap plus systems on order with side mount boxes and new LED screens. Can anyone provide feedback on the pictures? Looks to me like an adjustable coin slot that has an actual quarter installed as a spacer.

All great info everyone. Thanks for your time responding. I am going to take it all under review and come up with a reasonable solution. I do have a local person who is going to be taking on a 3-4 day a week light maintenance/cleaning. No money handling. I believe I have a multichannel...

Thanks for all of the insight. I see the pro's and con's of all the suggestions. I like the idea of $1 coins. Thievery will almost without a doubt increase with the dollar coins. Tokens seem like a viable option, all things considered. CC machines will be installed sometime in the future, which...
