Thank you! It sounds like both of those are potentially good options!
No, the vendor's name isn't Paul. I did get a response from my vendor, and it sounds like he may be able to get a solution shipped to us on Saturday, but we'll see... I'll definitely be checking out these other two options.
My site mgr walked into the equipment room at one of our two locations this morning to find a rain forest with water spewing all over from a broken hose. It got our PDQ Laserwash360 control box causing that system to malfunction, but we may have that issue resolved with a new node board that...
Waxman, I noticed the preowned equipment section, but thought I saw something about that being strictly for "new" old parts, not really for "used" parts or equipment. So, that would really only be an outlet for listing the arch cover, swivels, breakaway bracket, tires & tubes, etc. Otherwise...
I replaced two Laser 4000s with Laserwash 360s almost two years ago and still have the Laser 4000s sitting in my garage (in my wife's former parking spot). For some reason, my wife doesn't like scraping snow and ice from her windshield, nor shivering in a cold vehicle as she waits for it to...
A couple more things that might help describe the situation better...
The bridge doesn't come to a stop when it releases the dryer. It continues home, but for some reason, doesn't stop "in" the home position (so we get the code 13). Also, the dryer continues to "run" as it's rolling down the...
I'm getting ready to make some upgrades and am considering adding Tri-Foam conditioner and HP clearcoat protectant in the bays (in addition to an Air Shammee in 1 or 2 bays). We have a D/H 2900 setup and offer T/E cleaner, Presoak, HP Soap, LP "Wax," Foam Brush, and Spot-Free.
If we go with...
Anybody know what might be causing the dryer to detach from the bridge on it's return pass over the vehicle? It's been happening intermittently, of course, and when it does happen, it always seems to be somewhere around the middle of the bay. The dryer then freewheels the rest of the way home...
That WAS the culprit. My attendant replaced slightly worn o-rings on two of the check valves above the bay and was "positive" that he had eliminated the check valves above the bay as a potential problem. When I went to the site to help him out, he started showing me the battery of tests that...
Scratching our heads here... Does anybody know how our foaming wax could possibly be getting into our spot-free rinse tank and/or how the spot-free application could start out "spot-free" on our Laser 4000's spot-free rinse cycle, but be spitting out foaming wax by the time it gets to the right...
What would cause the arch to turn early as it moves down the side of a vehicle? It happened several times yesterday and "broke" the 7-hole (horizontal) portion of the arch. As a matter of fact, this is the 2nd time in 3 weeks that this has happened, and at different locations. Instead of the...
MEP, I'm intrigued by your many uses of PLC. Where's the best place to learn more about that and how to implement it at our washes? Can you post some pics of some of your PLC setups? Also, can you make a list of all of the things you've used it for?
Thanks.
Yes, Earl, we have D/H equipment, and I haven't seen the fitting we're using above each bay in any catalogs, so I assume it's theirs. We have 4 poly lines (i.e., air, presoak, T&E, & foam wax) "pushed" into this little manifold fitting, and then we have a check valve on the line beyond that...
How do you reduce the amount of time it takes for LP chemicals to get to each bay? We have some functions where it seems to take 10 to 20 seconds before we get a good steady spray.
