How to clean brick walls in-bay?

What is FRP? I'm assuming it's the white board you can screw into the walls. I've been wanting to see pictures of what the final product looked like. Do you have any pictures you'd be willing to share?

SSCWN Article - Wash all you want

Mark, are you planning to staff your wash when you convert it to gated? Did the one you visited in FL have an attendant on duty most of the day? That's my only uncertainty. Currently my attendants pretty much clean and go. I'm still getting all my costs together, but if I pull the trigger on...

    In-Floor Heat Leak

Can I ask why you'd ever want to run a car wash in the ghetto?? That's so funny to me. There were rumours about one of my washes being the spot where drug dealers would deliver drugs from Chicago to my neck of the woods. I suppose it goes without saying you have video surveillance and have been...

    In-Floor Heat Leak

I don't know if you can rent thermal imaging equip around here...but it's worth some phone calls. My husband was going to try locating it with air pressure but he doesn't want to put any more pressure in than what is normally going through there so as not to cause additional leaks...

How to clean brick walls in-bay?

Would the Kleen Wall remove the white residue left over from the muratic acid? If nothing is going to get the walls clean, maybe it's better to look into putting something over the brick. But I'm not sure that looks good either.

How to clean brick walls in-bay?

My ss car washes are constructed out of dark reddish brown brick. In the bays there is quite a bit of build up of water minerals and chemical. We tried to scrub the walls with muratic acid but it left behind a white residue we can't seem to get off. Can anyone recommend any products or know...

Need a Used Hamilton Goldline or Unitec Wash Select II Auto Cashier

I need either a Hamilton Goldline or Unitec Wash Select II autocashier with credit card. I don't need a DAN system. Need something decent and working but cheap. I'll be retrofitting it with Wash Card components. Thanks.

    In-Floor Heat Leak

Thanks for the idea. We have no idea who did the in floor heat...the car wash is 20+ years old and we've only owned it for four. Not sure if I could track down the original owner to find out. I was thinking I would see if our local fire department was willing to come down with their thermal...

SSCWN Article - Wash all you want

Just for info...my two washes are the only self-serve locations in town. The one that I'm not going to convert just yet is directly competing with a conveyor wash that is cheaper than my bays, has a better location with more visibility...you have to actually drive by it to get to my wash...and...

    In-Floor Heat Leak

My husband and I are stumped as to how to identify a leak in our in-floor heat. Towards the end of the winter we were dumping in a ton of anti-freeze to keep it going. We have to get it figured out before next winter or we could have a big problem on our hands. Anyone had a leak in their...

SSCWN Article - Wash all you want

I'm in WI and have a couple of self-service locations. I have been looking into converting one of the two (to start) into a gated, POP model, hoping to boost revenue. I wasn't really worried about squatters until I read this thread. The area that the wash I was considering converting is in has...
