I have seen some locations with AVI dryers in a stainless steel housing, before switching to Sonny's dryers. Not sure how well the AVI dryers did but I do prefer Sonny's dryers. Hope this helps.
I do have Buff n Dry and it is very pricey, 40-50k for a new Buff n Dry Setup, but If you are willing to go the extra mile for an extra ticket price, then go ahead, it WILL ADD VALUE TO THE WASH.
I like to have multiple duck bills spread apart, and some circular nozzles overhead in order to blow air at a higher velocity. I also have quick flip nozzles for the overhead. But besides the Mammoths, I have rectangular nozzles for the sides.
While that is true, (the Buff n Dry is expensive) I do prefer Sonny's dryers becuase of their nozzles, and their vast selection of them. I think the Buff n Dry adds value to the wash packages, I have increased each ticket (with Buff n Dry) By about $1, now that does not sound like much but it...
Of course you need the room for that, and chemistry, horsepower, and physics do play a role in how dry a car will be, but I originally did not have buff n dry and it did not dry as well. But I do only have buff n dry in my top two packages, i did not skimp on the dryers and even without the buff...
I have 4 Sonny's Mammoth dryers along with 8 other top and side dryers, I have all Sonny's equipment but I have used Belanger before and they have not worked well, so I recommend Sonny's equipment
