Usually the back up TX RX set get covered by foam (driver side, inside race track cover) or dirt (passenger side, lower part covered with a plastic cover).

What was the original F code before replacing the PLC? What is the description of that code?
Now, if you have water in the Presoak tank, check your input led and voltage, maybe the cable was not properly conected after the PLC replacement.
As everyone said, if you have no experience on this market, your local distribuitor or service company will be very important on your desicion. Probably He knows already the history of that machine, turn it ON, run a wash, evaluate if that equipment is already scrap or could be repair...
I agree with Roz, that design worked when AL was using the bristols system, this new weather strip is awafuly flimpsy.
What I am doing now to prevent that corner to worn out and get stuck on the door, is setting the opening just right at the end of the longer portion when possible.
There is an issue with some relays on the door controllers. I called AL because We were having a similar issue but their tech support want me to call when the issue is present.
These are brand new doors, I think someone else waa having this problem and AL sent them a resistor.
Please update if...
Post a picture of your Gantry and Pumping Water Plant to see what kind of equipment you have. Like others said, it could be a broken solenoid valve or a bad Apollo valve, or air not coming properly to the Apollo to keep it fully closed.
Are you sure the problem you have is a bad actuator and not a bad sensor or cable? Also, take a look of the trifoam air check valves, usually when bad will allow water into the air line.
Wow I am glad your Tech has the recognition He deserves. Hard to find a good tech now, usually old timers with a lot of experience because they were able to keep a line of work for more than one year without moaning and complaining in between restroom and texting breaks.

Exit travel limit not on, could be:
1. Bad exit travel limit sensor.
2. Gantry messing up pulses, exit limit should be read always at pulse 050, caused by:
a. Excessive friction during travel.
b. Track worn out, usually by the home position.
c. Side brush bristols getting caught when traveling...
If always happens with a certain wash package, bad cable or bad relay.
If issue shows up with any package, could be a bad proximity sensor or sensor that triggers the back up is blocked (dirty), so the CPU does not activates the wash because is reading that there is still a car in there.
