Has any one had problems with this rear wiper? Seams like the spring is breaking off as the wiper lifts off the glass. $44 repair!!!! Looks like its going on the can't wash list.

Our loader has a roll of masking tape. Rear Wipers are taped to the glass ay\t the tip.

We use 3m 3/4 blue tape on the wipers. One strip on the end one in the middle and they still break!!!! There is a spring that holds the wiper together and its under pressure. As the wiper lifts off the glass the spring lets go. This is only happening to this car.

Check out the wiper bags from K.R. or maybe try these with the tape.
Tape the tip end and the middle of the wiper.

Not sure what the "#m Blue tape is. Sounds like apinters tape which is designed to not be great at sticking so as to not harm the surface. Not an issue with Glass.

Switch to using wiper bags. I manage a ford dealership express tunnel and can tell you that i have yet to have a rear wiper arm break in the tunnel while using a wiper bag on any vehicle. however i have had a few break when i ran out of bags and substituted masking tape.
