5 brush units

iF YOU COULD BUY 1 of these Units that's refurbished, which would you guys choose?
If you ranked these in terms of reliability & cleaning ability, how would you guys rank them?

I'd say reliability the Softgloss is very good. It is the only one I have had
Cleaning, again Softgloss is all I've had & it did a good job.

I hear good things about Oasis i5 & Freestyler...

I like the openness of the freestyler and the overhead track. Also like the standard side blasters and the taller front arms.

Soft glosses have been around forever and are pretty much indestructible. Get it with high pressure and no wheel brushes. If you get one.

Oasis looks awesome. Just not too many out there.

I think he also liked the Istobal and actually had one in the last wash he was operating in Florida. But it was a three brush machine and he said it was slow.

Just saw this:

Looks like all they did was change skins, motors, gearboxes, and sensors. This one is a very old I5. That pumpstand and control panel has to be 10-15 years old. A lot of people dont know but the oasis i5 was actually purchased from sonnys when it was a sonny i5 and then modified. Im willing to bet that was a sonny pump stand design and was probably one of the first i5 gens that oasis put out before making the changes to it.

It's going to be hard to find a truly refurbished brush machine. Personally I would only purchase a brush machine new as there is a lot to them. Im not a fan of the I5. The freestyler and ryko I have no experience with. I would take a look at Istobal. Great cleaning and great reliability. I will say I see more Belanger equipment getting sold that is a few years old than any other manufacturer. Recently took apart a new blower from them and the impeller was the wrong direction straight from factory. I only deal with Belanger with tunnel operators but its seems more and more are becoming unhappy with them.

I have a 5-year soft gloss which replaced my Freestyler. I'd rather have the Freestyler back over the Soft Gloss, it was more reliable and had a much better Control and diagnostic and remote capability. My Soft Gloss was installed one month before they shifted to the Wash builder controls, which admittedly improved the machine. My new mantra is do not buy until I know there is good local tech support, and do not listen to the salesperson about that. I bent in excess of 10 Passenger Side Tall Brush shafts and bearings over 3 years before, a tech found the issue. Faulty programming dating to the install.
