I replaced the high and low pressure seals in all my pumps about four months ago. Now one of them are leaking under where the head bolts on to the pump. Can seals go bad that quick?

Yes, but it may not be the seals in the head. If it's dripping all the time it's probably a low-pressure seal. If it only leaks when the pump is running, it might be the plunger seal.

It leaks only when running. What does the plunger seal look like?

It's a small rubber washer that comes with the seal kit. I don't replace them when servicing the pump.

The bolt that holds the plunger tight had backed out a little bit. Replaced the washer and tightened it and that solved it.
Thanks MEP001!

You should take the head off again and use blue Loctite on the threads and torque the bolt to 55 in/lbs. DO NOT reuse the washer.
